The church does many activities such as grand day last weekend celebrating grandparents and grandchildren. My family all goes here and is really active though i myself usually dont attend. But, for grand day i did and all of the children were invited up to the altar and the homily was catered just to them in a way they could understand and be interested in. All of the readings and offerings and pretty much anything else that could be were done by children from the congregation. After the mass, the event included chips, hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks all free to the congregation and friends as well as party outside with a petting zoo, bubbles the camel, free ice cream treats, balloon animals, face painting and a band. Really, they try to do events and activities for the congregation to just hang out together often. The windows here are stunning. While St. Joseph is scarcely mentioned in the Scriptures, the windows beautifully capture his important and powerful role in the Holy Family. Beyond highlighting his significance, the windows are impressive works of art. The scriptural citations for the windows really connect the dots if there is uncertainty as to what is depicted. The crucifix is off centered which was a little distracting for me, but I was so drawn to the windows so it wasn’t too...
