Mississippi River Park — Attraction in Baton Rouge

Wheelchair accessible "trailhead" to the Mississippi River Levee Path and Levee Loop (1.5 miles). Water fountain, power outlets, wheelchair ramp, few chairs, stunning view. I don't dislike the place. It's a place I like to go to clear my thoughts. However the pier that sits out over the water. The red chairs needs to be replace they are falling apart but I'd truly believe it ; If I was told that certain careless unappreciative beings would destroy anything they can put their hands on. 🚬 cigarette butts etc. Please if you are one whose damaging a privilage area(s) please...

Actually, I never saw the park due to parking in Baton Rouge. The parking garage was $25 for up to 2 hours, and we were just wanting to stay about 15 minutes. Then we tried on street parking, but the app was too tricky for 2 of my kids in their 20's. Then, when I got the app to work, they wanted way too much personal information in order to pay for parking. Not user-friendly AT ALL....
