Kungfu Tea Baton Rouge — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk tea as it is my go-to Boba flavor. I normally get Boba in Houston almost every day, but I was in Baton Rouge and decided to try this establishment. After ordering my beverage I noticed it did not taste like it normally does and explained it to the lady at the register who asked me “what do you mean it does not taste right?”. I explained to her that I always get this flavor when I frequent other Boba establishments in Baton Rouge, but their drink just didn’t taste right. She proceeded to ask what didn’t taste right and I explained what I previously said again. I then asked if it would be possible to receive a refund for the drink and she called her manager who said “I mean we can’t just refund everyone who does not like their drink”. I said “okay is it possible to have it remade?” and she explained that she couldn’t remake it.

This was my very first time going there and my first time trying boba tea so didn’t really know what I was getting! Unlike the other reviews saying the staff wasn’t friendly must’ve gone to a different place!! The young lady working the counter and making other orders not only showed me the menu but also told me about the different boba drinks and once I picked out the drink, I should select the type of boba I wanted! She and the gentleman working there were extremely pleasant and helpful! The boba drink I ordered, “Oreo Wow” was so delicious and not too sweet! Will definitely be going back!! The smell of cleaner was so over powering I had to go outside and wait in our order. The 2 girls working both looked up and rolled their eyes when we came in NO GREETING whatsoever. Stared at their phones the ENTIRE time. We ordered 3 drinks. The workers seemed rather annoyed. The drinks took forever! It was awkwardly quiet in the store. The drinks are Okay.
