Target — Local services in Baxter

On Saturday, April 9th at approximately 8 pm. I attempted to purchase a new iPhone, I say attempted, because even I had every intention of buying it. The "sales tech", was one of the most rude, unprofessional, and incompetent person that I have ever dealt. Not only was he unfamiliar with the process of trading a phone in, but he blamed his inability to complete the transaction on me, the customer. He tried to sell me insurance on the phone, which I I did not want, when I told him that, he stated "well because you don't want to pay 10 dollars I am going to have to start this whole process over again". Long story short, when he started the process over again, it canceled the whole transaction. After that he told me that he can not sell me a phone because it is causing him too much trouble. After an hour of patiently waiting, the "professional" refused to make a sale! I immediately spoke to the manager on duty, and was offered a sub-par applogy. Because of these unprofessional specialists, I lost out on a $200 promotion,...

The last few times I’ve shopped at this location it felt like the front end managers care more about trying to prove the customer wrong instead of admitting that they put up the wrong signage and honoring the pricing from that signage. There was an entire shelf of 30% off product that I picked from with 4 signs across the shelf, it didn’t ring that way at the registers and when I explained that to the manager she proceeded to go back to that section, came back up with a picture on her phone showing me the shelf that now magically only had one sign on it instead of 4 signs. She then proceeded to argue with me about it and made me feel like she thought I was making it up. She only honored one item I picked at 30% off and walked away. I just have one, single, thing to say about this particular target:...I LOVE THIS TARGET!!! I came on vacation all the way from Northfield Minnesota, and If I had a car I would drive the whole 3 hours back and fourth just to come to this target!!

For the record, we have multiple targets, including one in our town in Northfield, and not one, not a single one in the twin cities area has as friendly as a staff as the target in baxter!!

The store is clean, the exterior is beautiful, and the staff is more than friendly and helpful than any staff I have met at any of the targets back home!!

If I were in charge, I would make this targets minnesota flagship store, and give everyone a raise!! I give it a easy 100 out of 10!!
