Jake's Corner Lounge — Restaurant in Bay City

Started off having a good time here, until we wanted to play a round of Cornhole, we were told we needed to turn in our license for bags, so my friend went in to try and do that, but was told another group of people had them, she went over and politely asked if we could use them for one game, (since they weren't using them) so they gave them to her, and in the middle of our game, I believe we were told by someone that it was the owner of the bar himself, came up and threw a hissy fit and took the bags and the boards away without even letting us explain ourselves. It was just unacceptable, we would have been more than happy to give him our license so that we could finish our game and enjoy our night. The way he reacted to it...

6 people in the bar besides me and my girl. 2 bartenders, we sat at the bar, 30 minutes waiting for a refill when both bartenders walked past us 4-5 times. My girl got a white claw and specifically asked for anything but mango. He goes and grabs a mango and slaps it down, then walks down to the other end of the bar and stays there. I said Hey man! He ignored me. Wasn't loud at all. He heard me. Couldn't get either of their attention because they would not look our way. When they did walk past us all those times, we still could not get them to stop. I've bartended, cooked, and served for 25 years. The first time I didn't leave a tip ever. Ridiculous. Never been...

Ever get the feeling you wanted to step back into the 1800's and get a salooney feel of drinkin', congreagatin', and socializin'...Well this is the place and when you sit at the window and look out into the street area that allows you to meet with friends and drink outside well then the whole scen is complete! All you have to do is inagaing everyone dress in suits and frockey dresses and you will have step back ibto a simpler time. Enjoyed the service, enjoyed the patronage.. they were local regulars who are not tribal and engage in great conversation. Bar tab wasn't that steep either...And I got pretty...
