Sadly, I am convinced that the good reviews must be friends of the restaurant or some other promotion, because the experience here was terrible. Food was subpar. Overall a disappointment.

We showed up to the open seating around 4:30, told we could sit anywhere, and chose to sit out on the patio. Watched waitstaff pal around with other patrons, and after about 15-20 minutes, finally someone approached us and said we’d have someone help us shortly, they were doing shift change. 10 minutes after THIS, we get menus and drinks. Another 20+ minutes for our appetizers and entrees to come out at the same time, cold. Standard burger, standard chicken sandwich. Waffle fries were cold, and had some sort of old cheese stuck on them. Which was a surprise to me, when I had mentioned to the waitress that I couldn’t have cheese (husband got the empanadas - he said they were not great).

No one ever checked on our table, but when we looked back into the restaurant from our patio seats, the staff was behind the bar doing each other’s hair and chatting. Not sure what was going on there, but it was just an overwhelmingly...

Can't even call this food mediocre. The boudin balls were burned, spring rolls had hardly any filling and the sliders were mostly cheese with very little meat. The waffle fries were good. Service: what service?!!?! We were greeted at the table, when we weren't sure about our drink order tge waitress said she'd be back. 10 minutes later I had to yell across the bar to where she was hanging with the other employees "we're ready to order now". And this was a Friday at lunch before BSL gets super busy. Of course she didn't write down our order so had to come back to confirm the second appetizer. Both apps and entree came out at the same time and we had to ask for plates (cardboard basket things). All to eat some small amount of terrible food. Too many other restaurants with food that exceeds palatable to ever eat here again. They have a nice view so come to drink but don't waste your...

First time visit. Servers were excellent. I had lemon pepper chicken wings, which were very good size and excellent taste. It was two for one tacos, so my husband ordered shrimp tacos. He really liked them. I had a half of one and it was ok just not my style or taste. They had non alcoholic beer, which seems to be a rarity around here and made my husband happy. Will probably go back again.

Been a year since we were there. Menu changed a little. Husband had Monday's special of shrimp, potatoes and corn. Very generous with large shrimp. My order was a shrimp cocktail and cheese steak tacos. Didn't know the shrimp cocktail was HUGE! Was a meal by itself. Ate one really good taco and took second home. Service was wonderful too. Will go back again. Biggest problem is the area is very popular now so finding handicap parking is tough. So, we go off hours...

Rags to Riches is a must for anyone out of town or local looking for a place to watch the game and grab some great food. The chicken sandwich with waffle fries was top-notch--the sandwich and sauce were delicious, and those fries were hands down the best I've had anywhere. We enjoyed a variety of drinks from beers to mimosas and Bloody Marys, all of which were fantastic. The gumbo was hot and seriously good, and the wings were crispy and flavorful. The bartenders and servers were all so friendly and welcoming. It's a perfect spot to hang out with friends or family, whether you're there for the game or a meal. Overall, a great place with delicious food and a cool vibe.

Fun cool spot near the water for good drinks and food. This feels like the standard for a bar in Bay St Louis. Went for lunch on a Friday to kick off the weekend. The waiter was attentive and had a cool welcoming vibe. The drinks were tropical and fun with a good kick. The food was traditional bar food, tasty and plentiful. We got fries covered in sauce and meat and a few other appetizers. You can tell this place gets lively on the weekends and it’s a solid choice for the area.
