I very rarely find time to send reviews, but I was so inspired by the team here that I had to write this! There's a young gentleman named Hussam who supervises the crew most days when I go in for lunch. You can always expect that he's going to be active and engaged with the team and encouraging them to do what is inherently right. I worked in Bayonne through college, and know how hard it is to deal with the diverse crowd that frequents this shopping center. Hussam is doing a phenomenal job with working to keep not only the standard of excellence at the forefront, but to actively engage with every guest that walks through the door. This is my favorite place to take my lunch break. There is also a young man named Avonte, who I hope does very well in his life. He is very spirited and is always on point with not only his crew, but the guests. These guys are an asset to the Bubbakoos Burritos. I also appreciate Melissa for being a stickler about freshness ESPECIALLY when she's prepping the food that we all are eventually going to eat! She's no nonsense and I always know that my food will be fresh and delicious when I see her supporting the front end team. My son spent $35 on an Uber Eats order. When it arrived, his soda and fries were missing. When we called about to, their only advice was to come back to the store to pick it up.
So after a 13 hour day, I had to get redressed and go back to the store. At which point, all they did was blame the Uber driver and made no effort to compensate or rectify the issue aside from giving us the food that was missing and paid for. I was NOT asking for a full refund, but some type of “we are sorry for the inconvenience” would have been appropriate and appreciated. Give back the delivery fees since I had to finish the job myself, or a coupon for a future purchase, an extra small Plate of food since they were closing anyway. Some type of good faith effort.
Just blaming the Uber driver is unacceptable. It could have been the restaurant, it could have the Uber driver…but it was definitely not our fault that the food was missing. I should not have been inconvenienced at 9pm by someone else’s mistake. Very, very disappointed at this is was handled and not properly resolved.

Read moreQuality of this place went down the hill really fast. Every time I used to order online there was something wrong with the order - missing sauce here, missing cheese there (EVERYTIME!!). On Sat 4/23, they outdid themselves - totally messed up 3 out of 5 items. I called them and the guy his excuse was ohh we have new people... he also said they couldn't send me replacements because they don't have drivers (understandable since they use grubhub) but i would get a credit withing 2-3 business days. It's day 4 today and i still have not seen my money back.
Also, Be careful when you purchase in person - their receipts are not itemized and if you dont pay attention they would try to sneak in an extra item - it happened to me a while ago - i used to order ("used to" is the key word because i will never spend a penny there) 3 things and my bill was always around 45 bucks when i got home i noticed $65 charge. I called the guy and he said it was "a mistake" - he did give me a free meal to compensate for it but i am wondering how many "mistakes" like that happen over there... be...
