Eat Rice — Restaurant in Bayonne

Defenitely stay away from here. I did read a few reviews where they clearly mentioned that the food smelled bad and was tasting old but I did want to give them the benefit of doubt and went ahead and ordered food from here. As a local guide I have tasted a lot of Chinese food in NJ and NY and I would definitely say the food from Eat Rice was definitely not of good quality. The chicken had a wierd smell which was making me extremely uncomfortable to eat . The duck tasted so horrible. Not sure how many days it was in the freezer before they served it to me. Even the vegetables used in all their dishes were tasting old and had a wierd smell. Unfortunately I had to just trash the food coz I'd rather trash it than pay more for...

This happened on September 4, 2019. We've ordered from this establishment quite a few times in the past and never had an issue with the food... until last night. We received our food (2 bags worth) and started unpacking it. As we got to the bottom of the first bag my brother noticed some things crawling around and my husband noticed the same thing as he unpacked the other bag. Turns out we were greeted by about 2 dozen baby cockroaches. We inspected the food and it seemed fine but why take the risk? Just the idea that our food was prepared in a place where clearly there is some sort of an infestation was enough to kill my appetite. Sorry to say but I won't be ordering from this...

Their price are reasonable if you're wondering because the staff are very friendly, nice, kind & respectful. The place looks great, loving the Asian Oriental decor. Let's talk about the food, Yummmmm.. that's my description of their food. I've never been disappointed with whatever I order there. I recommend their Chicken broccoli, Chicken corn soup, sesame Chicken, beef lo mien, and many more. I recommend this place for all. This place is the best Chinese restaurant in Bayonne City.
