Welp??? The outside looks inviting and the inside is just the same. This was a 70 mile day trip with my Foster Dad that was in Town. I’m sure the night time crowd is a better scene for its Design and True set up... A Bar that just happens to serve Food. Very SALTY Greasy Food. The Nachos were at room temperature when served and had highly processed cheese that had that Warmed up in the Microwaved look. The Oysters were pretty Good. The Lady Waitress that had Dark Red Hair, pulled up, Purple TShirt and Khaki Pants was Not inviting and kept giving us her agitated look every time we ask simple ordering questions/ remarks. She was very impatient, dirty clothes, super sweaty and never thanked us, even though I thanked her every time she answered our questions or served us. The Wait Staff NEVER Washed their Hands after handling The Menus OR Cleaning Tables. The Menus had Sticky Ketchup on them. Half the Staff Wore Mask. The Wait time to get a drink and or Food took triple the average time as anywhere else and they weren’t even that busy. I noticed other couples come in well after us that got their food before us. One of the same couples were greeted with a Hug and kisses on the cheek by a Tall thin older lady that was working in the back kitchen. She also was Not washing her hands or Wearing a Mask. The Cooks seemed to be hard working and Fast at it, the wait staff were behind. The Tables and Menus were Not being wiped down. They even messed up the Uber Food delv. Guys order as he had to come back and wait 15 minutes for it to be corrected and then our waitress gave him a hard time. It’s obvious this facility knows they get enough tourist to NOT Have To Respond to any of their Google Reviews. Like I said, this place does better with a 40 and under evening Bar drinking scene... nothing wrong with that. But, my review is consistent with the other low rating reviews on here. I still...
Read moreWe were in the area for a house-hunting trip and decided to patronize your establishment. Unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable, ironically turning a house-hunt into a chase for achievable satisfaction from our restaurant visit.
It all started with the backdrop of your staff's non-attention and speed strikingly slower than molasses - a disconcerting scene on its own. The unenthusiastic energy surrounding their interaction with us also left a lot to be desired.
Next, the adventure of our lukewarm meals. It is somewhat common knowledge that most meals are best served hot, yours came out frigid. Our fries, often considered comfort food, were anything but - cold and unappetizing. I will admit, there are few things worse than expecting hot, indulgent fries and being served ones that are chilled.
Compounding these issues was the irksome situation concerning our drinks. We flagged down waitstaff for drink refills numerous times, but the refills never found their way to our table. Yet, the disappointing parade of incidents seemed like a poor performance that intended to push diners away rather than entice them.
In conclusion, we initially looked forward to adding Luther’s to our list of favorite local eateries. Instead, this experience has become our first and last visit. Now, all we are left with is a lesson on how not to run a restaurant that claims to be a favorite in the area.
The old saying "You live and learn" is more profound...
Read moreWhat a pity, we have come back thinking of giving them a second chance, after a long time, since they failed us with the service previously. Well, more than failing, they did not pay us any attention and after 20 minutes of waiting and seeing the waitress go by Saying absolutely nothing, we left. On this occasion, we thought that if we sat at the bar, perhaps it would be an easier service for them and perhaps faster for us. Well, none of that. We simply ordered some baskets, one of fish and the other of chicken. The waitress was attentive and there was no shortage of beers for us, but time passed, and the people who arrived after us already received their dishes. To call the attention of the waitress, we told her that we were going to go out to take some photos, that's when she told us that our order was "almost" ready, that had already passed more than 45 minutes. Upon re-entering, my husband told her that if it was not ready, we would cancel the order, she apologized and that's when she went into the kitchen to claim our plates. Another 20 minutes passed before they came out. We just didn't leave because we had hungry. The food was good. This has not been just a bad day, it is the disorder that reigns here and the poor organization that they have in the kitchen. We understand a waiting time, right now there is not much staff working and we respect it , but this place is unacceptable. It is a pity since it is in a...
