Dear Management,
I visited the Beaumont location for the first time on 8/29/2025 at 7:17 PM. My check number is #14 Host: Cashier 2 #30090.
I ordered several items but my issue came when I told the employee that took my order that I wanted a (taco plate: 1 grilled shrimp, 1 steak on a flour tortilla, pinto beans and cilantro rice.) Don't know where the breakdown came from but I ended up getting 1 shrimp tempura taco instead of grilled. I brought the food back in and asked for the correct one, the girl standing outside of the kitchen asked me for the correct order and then she told the cooks. Well, I didn't want to wait any longer because we were in a hurry so I requested a refund. The guy with black glasses told me that he couldn't issue a refund because the manager wouldn't be in until Monday! Why weren't the employees trained to issue refunds for situations like this? Do you think the lack of knowledge or training in issuing refunds is suitable for the restaurant business? I asked him to just go ahead and re-make the order and this would be the THIRD time for me asking for 1 grilled shrimp taco and 1 steak, do you know the girl who was calling out order numbers for pickup handed me two grilled tacos and no steak even after she checked with me first? I'm going to have to report this business to the Better Business Bureau. This kind of mess is totally and utterly ridiculous, I know people make mistakes but how the hell did you get it wrong TWICE, and with me sitting in the restaurant looking at you? This location has the most incoherent and incompetent staff I've ever seen. I was raised in Beaumont and I've NEVER eaten out here and I see why! I just can't understand for the life of me why my order was so complex to fix! Or why was it rocket science? It was just 2 tacos! They treated it like I ordered lunch for a whole high school football team! The level of stupidity is literally ridiculous and I'd like to request a FULL refund for what I paid. I will never visit nor will I accompany anyone else that wants to try or eat there. You have to do better! Small issues like this can cause bigger problems in the future and those issues can lead to BANKRUPTCY. I'd like to know who owns the restaurant so I can further discuss how the staff needs to be trained properly to listen to customers that walk...
Read moreInexpensive tacos, they call their food Baja style. I've never been to Baja, I understand it's the western peninsula of Mexico, has beautiful beaches, hosts a yearly desert race and is where you can see Sammy Hagar's birthplace located in an unlicensed homeopathic abortion center in the heart of historic Cabo Wabo.
What I don't understand is why Baja style Mexican food, at least according to Fuzzy's, is most identifiable by it's use of white garlic sauce, feta cheese, and only having vinegar based "salsa".
I began to wonder, was Baja colonized by halal food cart owners or does Mr. Fuzzy have a confused understanding of culinary traditions? Are gyros technically tacos and is Rome the crown Jewel of the Baja Coast? Nope, these are "gringo tacos".
I began to realize just how much I misunderstood and was grateful for the corporation of white men who resolved this long-standing confusion on the part of the indigenous Bajans.
As I turned out of the parking lot and accelerated wildly down the sidewalk against the flow of traffic, my eyes open to new ways of doing things and riding a tidal wave of feta-induced euphoria, the future was looking brighter than ever before. I made one last stop to pick up some sammich fixin's for lunch that week: -yellow mustard -pop-rocks -expired cough syrup -communion wafers I think it's exactly what Mr. Fuzzy would eat on a cold summer...

Fuzzy’s Taco is the definition of hit or miss—and lately, it’s been mostly miss. The garlic sauce is awful. It tastes rancid, and even though I always request it to be left off, it somehow ends up on my food anyway. That’s just sloppy.
They also can’t seem to get basic orders right. Ask for grilled, you’ll get fried. Ask for fried, you might still get grilled. It’s like they’re guessing back there.
The management is all over the place. I’ve had a few great experiences in the past, but more recently, I dealt with a manager named Keith who was rude, dismissive, and acted like it was a chore to even address a basic concern. That kind of customer service is unacceptable and definitely soured my experience.
Some of the staff try, others clearly don’t care. With so many better, more consistent taco spots in Beaumont, I’d skip...
