It was my daughter's birthday, and we got a free burrito (with purchase of large drink) coupon, so she wanted to try a Mexicano Burrito with no meat. When we got there, she gave the cashier the free burrito coupon on her phone. We rang up her veggie Mexicano burrito, one Baja burrito for her sister, and the required large drink, and she had exited out of the coupon and turned the phone off. Everything was fine until the cashier asked her to give her the coupon again, but when my daughter tried to pull up the coupon again it kept saying that she had already "reached the limit" of times you can open the coupon on the email. At this point the manager walked by, stopped, conversed in Spanish with the cashier so that we could not understand what they were saying, and then proceeded to angrily shoot us glares as the cashier turned to us to apologetically inform us that we can't redeem the coupon. Confused, I asked why, and after rolling her eyes, the manager asked me quite rudely, "Do you have the coupon printed out? Do you have your daughter's ID? No? I didn't think so. So we can't give it to you." I was a little shocked at her attitude, and had never seen those "rules" on the email, but I proceeded to pay for the burritos and the large drink that we no longer wanted, but bought anyway. Unfortunately it doesn't end here. We got home and found they had made my daughter the WRONG BURRITO. Instead of the Mexicano (which has rice and beans and pico de gallo) they gave her.. A large dump of guacamole and pico de gallo wrapped in tortilla. We are very confused and upset at this point, and hope that others have a better experience in the matter.
Update: The point is not that we didn't get to use the coupon, it's that they need to be clearer ON THE EMAIL (not on the actual coupon that you can only open once, which is the only place they specify those rules), and that the manager had been so rude. Had she been nicer, it would have made the experience a lot...
Read moreOrdered online and went to pick it up in store ourselves. Arrived at 6:42pm (order was scheduled to be ready at 6:46pm). My husband went into the store (I was in the car) and was told there was no order. He came out and we checked the order receipt email and confirmed we were at the correct adddress before heading back inside. The cashier wasn't able to help so he referred it to the manager on duty. The manager says she doesn't speak English. My husband had to inform her that she does because he overheard her speaking it to one of the employees (YES, REALLY!!!). She then says the order was made and was picked up already. We had no order and we never sent anyone to pick it up. She continued to argue and refused to replace the order. A lot of back and forth arguing went on for about 5 minutes. Eventually .. begrudgingly .. the manager agreed to make the order while we waited. He was handed the order with a side of attitude. This isn't our fault. The fault lies with the manager on duty. The situation should have been resolved quickly and without argument. The original order should have been verified with an email receipt or something to make sure it went to the correct person. They weren't busy so it could have been checked. We are frequent Baja Fresh customers (usually to a different location) and have never had a situation even sort of like this anywhere. We will NEVER visit this location again. The manager on duty needs to be fired or at the very least taught how to handle situations like this and to NEVER EVER use the "I don't speak English" phrase ever ever ever again as a MANAGER of Baja Fresh.
Was the food good? Yes. Did it take forever to get it?...

The flavors you have in just one of there chicken Barrettos is to me unbelievable at how tasty they alway are every single time!! There consistently of the way they prepare the veggies and chicken before EVERTHING reaches the purchaser..let me just say on the fist and second bite all the way to the end of your meal is worth the drive from Cacade Locks. Which I have done any time I want to spoil myself. I have tried the other Baja Fresh restaurants in the past but none have the natural flavor in there food the way this one in Beaverton does.
I should know... been coming here since they opened...
