Arrived to the store and noticed no one was there. Went back to shopping then returned back to see if they were really closed or opened. Then saw someone was there and over heard him say to someone “ come back in 5-10 mins “ and then we stood there. And told us the same thing “ come back in 5-10 mins “ so we went back to our shopping. Return back in the time frame and saw he helped someone and told them to come back in 5-10 mins and saw him just shuffling stuff to look like he is working. And we asked “ if we can order ?! “ and told us the same thing again “ come back in 5-10 mins… very disappointed. And won’t be coming back here again. I feel the person who was working there tonight. My boyfriend and I went on a little adventure to find this place and got excited that it was tucked into an Uwajimaya! After we shopped around we walked up to the Beard Papa’s counter and was greeted by a very friendly employee who was more than happy to answer our questions as it was the first time we had ever been there. We settled on 3 cream puff flavors: vanilla (the classic), pumpkin (seasonal), and dulce de leche (the adventurous choice). My favorite was the pumpkin flavor because it sincerely tasted as though it could come right or the Thanksgiving table. My boyfriend’s was the dulce de leche, specifically stating it had the perfect amount of pastry crunch that complimented the filling perfectly. Safe to say we will be returning to try some other...

Went to Beard Papa’s today with my girlfriend. She was very excited as she hadn’t had Beard Papa’s since moving from Oahu.

Boy were we disappointed. The cream puffs that we received were stale, slightly burnt, and most definitely a day old. Complete rip off for 4.50 per cream puff. My girlfriend literally cried because they had been so excited for one of their favorite foods from back home and what they got was a total let down.

Also the woman at the counter was not friendly and was extremely hard to hear from behind the giant plexiglass and would not speak up.

Do not waste your money on this. It’s 4.50. I wouldn’t have paid a dollar for what I got. I can make better pastries at home that aren’t...
