If you haven't been to this Walmart neighborhood market, you should definitely give her the try today. For those of you who have been there and been loyal through our remodel we do appreciate it. I've only worked at the store for a short time and basically it's been under construction pretty much the whole time. It was absolutely crazy in the beginning with the aisles being moved a locations of products changing everyday and just general chaos. So are scavenger hunt that we had for a couple months is over and now the store is back together and much better than it was before. Thanks to the construction crew and the Walmart remodel team we were able to stay on our timeline as far as I know and have our grand opening the day we said we were going to when we didn't have to close our doors to customers through this at all.
I personally want to think the customers for putting up with everything and being patient for those who did while we were updating our store for the better. And also all my associates at Walmart for very nicely having the patients to deal with the chaos. I also want to say our management to you and Brandon and Crystal especially were amazing working with associates remodel crew and construction throughout this 3 month.
Today is the grand reopening today and there is lots of free stuff for customers and employees so go say hi and check out the new store, here are some pictures of the after (I never thought to take any beforehand) and please keep in mind as associates we do the best we can especially when we're short-handed but we all know how the world works and we can't expect everything to go as planned all the time. So we make adjustments and for those customers who are able to bear with those adjustments we appreciate it.
I'm sorry I didn't take the best photos but that just means you'll have to go check it out...
Read moreI go barefoot everywhere possible. I have been a Walmart shopper for years. I am aware that Walmart has no policy against the barefoot shopper. I normally shop at your Beaverton Neighborhood Market #3050, on Murray Boulevard. I have no issues with the store. They have always been kind and respectful. A few years ago I went to another of your Beaverton Neighborhood Markets, #5993, on Cornell Road. I was in the area. I was approached by an employee who told me that I had to leave the store immediately because I wasn't wearing shoes. He told me Walmart does not allow customers to shop barefoot. I knew this was not true. I told him I'm going to finish my shopping and walked away. I never went back to this store because of that experience. It was very traumatic to be treated like that in front of other customers. To be made out as if I was doing something wrong. On Thursday, August 29th, I was unable to secure the supplies I needed from my normal store so I decided to try this store again. While I was shopping there I was accosted by two different employees at two different times in two different places in the store in front of other customers and rudely told to put shoes on or get out. I replied "No" and continued to finish my shopping. I left without further incident. I do not appreciate being treated like this while shopping at Walmart. Why don't the employees know that it's okay not to wear shoes at Walmart? Perhaps it needs to be an integral part of new employee training on customer relations. I would appreciate your letting your store management know that I am a welcome customer, shod...

No live person at the cashier only self checkout...why pay a employee as cashier when we the customers, can do the job while paying Walmart.

I guess they have a secret agreement with Krispy Kreme donuts 🍩 so the customers would buy from them at $20 a dousing since Walmart doesn't offer the donuts anymore...at least at this location...
Store manager, or area - district manager, wake up..!!.. you make over $2k per week unlike us meager mortals, yet you're slacking on the bakery and donuts... wake up and do your job...
It's the corporate not the existing employees at this location who are understaffed and overworked...
Welcome to Walmart...if you can avoid it... but it's hard since Oregon is not friendly to Walmart, this is not even a supercenter just a small neighborhood store with very limited products... next Walmart is 15-20 miles away which in the Portland traffic means at least 30 minutes away just one way...
Whoever is leaving 4-5 stars reviews are either paid employees or clueless customers with nothing else to compare with since they never leave their 15 miles radius bubble and as such have no clue about the world outside of their...
