EDITED: (2 YEARS LATER) perspective; this was written during the pandemic (covid) -- originally a two-star, elevated to a 4 -- still prefer to drive a little farther to pick up my dinner, preferable establishment
Original post follows: .. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE -- the Corporate division has built a very appealing and simple platform to order from, but this venue has not integrated it well at all. I received my Order Confirmation via email before I could pull my cellphone out and check for it~! I was impressed*. It notified me that my order would be ready in 9-14mins.
I climbed in the car and ran -- it took me ~13min to drive there (and approach the window to declare my presence)
At least 5 minutes later my name was finally called (and at least 2 other parties had come to the Ordering window and left with their meals already) only to inform me that they had just started a new batch of shrimp and it would delay my order another 8-10 minutes. ( this is all several minutes after the Longest estimate of my meal being fully prepared for me )
I don't know what went wrong inside their shop, but I waited another 20mins before my order came out.
When my name was called I was standing back from the group that had gathered near the table to receive their order; so I raised my hand and approached the table. My order was set down on the table and she stepped back into the building. I showed no confirmation and had NO interface with them as I picked up my meal and attempted to maintain a tiny bubble of space between myself and the gathering crowd as I approached/acquired/departed..
I WILL NOT be ordering online from this venue again.
I was disturbed that I had to send Another business my Bank Account information -- albeit a Secure connection, I was not as comfortable passing that information on to them.. and believe that there should also be alternatives to HOW you...
Read moreWhatever might be said about any other element of this Panda Express, the efficiency, speed, and polite, friendly service of the staff here is REMARKABLE. I swear it's a show worth watching when they get a rush of customers. So, kudos to the hardworking employees at the Beaverton Panda Express. They are an awesome example of the hospitality industry in action, and the teamwork is phenomenal to see. I must compliment management for assembling such a great crew... you've done yourselves proud!
The food is good, plentiful, and fresh. Many choices, with a nice addition of new items that change periodically. Not a particularly interesting or cozy interiour, but that's the chain standard. There does seem to be good attention paid to keeping the tables, chairs and counters clean and tidy so sitting down to eat here is certainly an option. There are outdoor seating options as well.
Parking can be limited during peak hours, but something usually opens up after a short wait.

Read moreOrdered delivery through their app. They sent the wrong order. We got someone else's food. When I called, the person who answered was clueless. I asked to talk to a supervisor. His name was Ryan. Ryan told me to call DoorDash since all they were able to do was have me go pick up a replacement(which defeats the purpose of a delivery I paid for). He said DoorDash was able to reorder a replacement for me. I told him he should look into fixing that and he hung up on me. I called DoorDash and they said that they were incorrect. All DoorDash could do was issue a refund(which I took). I then called Ryan(Panda Express) back and let the DoorDash rep(merged calls)inform him of the correct information, to which Ryan tried to argue about it at first before finally saying he'd "pass the information on to his supervisor". So I guess he really wasn't a supervisor? Anyways, I just wanted the food I paid for. And this kid was rude and unprofessional and probably shouldn't be working in any customer...
