Bubble Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Beaverton

Terrible tea & service today. We were warned about Bubble Bubble by a friend, but had to learn our lesson the hard way. There was a line because both employees were on their phones & ignoring the 3 customers. I left my son in line (3rd person in line), I walked over to Fred Meyer, went shopping in 3 different departments, waited in the check out line, walked back to Bubble Bubble & my son was still in line, 20-something minutes later. The tapioca balls were shriveled, he asked to buy extra tapioca bubbles & they gave him what looked like less than usual. He asked for green matcha, & instead got this brown disgusting over-sweetened tea. He couldn’t even drink it. I tried it, it was gross, & tossed it out. There are 2 other exceptional bubble tea places near by in Beaverton that are 5-star places in taste & service. Do your homework & search for them or you’ll regret it like we do. My first visit here was in August 2021 and I've been coming here ever since. It's my favorite spot, and I've gone to three others since. It feels very welcoming and FUN. I love hazelnut milk tea with custard and my buddy loves mango smoothies w/mango jelly. I tried green tea with peach last time and it was very refreshing. Can't go wrong with Thai tea blended with traditional boba or Taro blended if you like extra sweet drinks. They recently got a lot more little gifts to purchase as well as claw machines. They have plenty of choices of milk tea, smoothies and tea with flavors. definitely give it a try, I'm sure you'll find some favorites of your own. They have rewards too! Came in with my family on Easter. Just wanted to enjoy some boba after brunch. Two ladies behind the counter seem immediately irritated that the whole family was there (11) and the gal at the register told us that they aren’t allowed to do orders larger than 10. First of all, we ordered 9. Second, the store was nearly empty. We were all really put off by the girls’ attitudes and lack of customer service. I wasn’t going to write a review because the girl with the septum piercing was mostly nice when I went the register a second time, but my whole family was put off by the unwelcoming atmosphere and we went to Tous les Jour next door.
