Staff is always friendly here, no complaints about that, but the food production quality consistently feels sub-par compared to every other Taco Bell in the area.
I understand it's Taco Bell and the food's not going to come out perfect like the menu pictures, but it's disappointing having my grilled items (Crunchwrap, Quesarito, XXL Grilled Stuffed Burrito, etc.) come out over-done with crunchy, dark brown plaques all over the tortillas (occasionally I get completely black char bits to pick off). The majority of the time I order a grilled item from this location, it comes out over-done to varying degrees. I can often smell the char through the wrapper and I question why I didn't take the extra 8 minutes to drive to the Cedar Hills location where I've never received over-grilled food.
Besides the over-cooked grilled items, I've taken issue with the Spicy Tostadas. This is an item I order a lot of (up to 3 per visit). Disappointingly, they often come out looking kind of like a modern art masterpiece, with sauces splattered in a single row on and off the Tostata and the vegetables cordoned way off to one side.
So why is it this Taco Bell consistently serves over-cooked grilled items? Surely it's not the fault of any single employee, as this problem persists regardless of time of day, and has been on-going for, by my own recollection, almost a year, if not longer. Is the grill set too hot? Are staff being taught improper grilling technique? Perhaps the grill is faulty, running too hot. We may never know.
Over the last few months I've come to terms with the lower standards of this particular Taco Bell. I accepted it as a fact of life: if I want great Taco Bell food I'll have to go to a different location, if I'm in a rush and don't mind risking a sub-par T-Bell meal, this place is fine.

Seriously. This time, the speaker was out which made it even worse. Instead of having a sign to inform you as such at the entrance of the drive thru, they have it in the middle, so youāre already locked in with no escape.
I finally got to the window, he took my order incorrectly, so I corrected him. Then he goes outside to take orders of cars behind me (so that was an option the whole time. No ideas why they werenāt doing that from the start)
Then another girl hands me my food after like 10 minutes of waiting at the window (I only ordered 3 things) and tried to send me off without my coffee. I told her, āhey, I ordered a coffee tooā. I ordered a hot one, it was on the receipt, and she makes me a cold one, without it being mixed because she ādoesnāt know where the straws areāā¦ā¦ā¦ SERIOUSLY!?!? I swear I wish I was making this up.
At that point I was too annoyed to even wait for her to make it correctly, and the cars behind me were already honking. So I bailed cuz I donāt want cars behind me to be mad at me.
Literally unbelievable. An entire hour. What has happened to fast food places? This place is always so ridiculously slow. Theyāre earning more money than ever but the service has never been worse. I canāt wait till robots take over these jobs. This comes a few months after Taco Bell used my card for someone elseās order and didnāt gimme a refund. I called corporate, they assured me a refund would be in my account within 5 business days. I never got that refund.
Taco Bell has really fallen these...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreChange my five star to a one star. They made a mistake on my order and when I went to replace it they treated me like I was just trying to scam a meal. I don't understand the point in trying to protect corporate profits. The manager did not want to replace the meal and at first tried to explain to me how I ordered my food wrong. Even though I've ordered it the exact same way at every Taco Bell in the area.
I asked for my meal to be replaced after explaining that it was missing the key ingredients. She rang up an employee meal and left off the drink and the three sides of chipotle sauce I asked her for the sauce when I read the receipt stating that my original order had the three Chipotle sauces and she replied yeah but you got those. Honestly my whole ticket should have just been replaced without so much hassle. Instead she gave me a medium drink and filled the order while I was eating in the parking lot I noticed on the 3rd Taco as I was so hungry I didn't notice on the first two that they forgot ingredients again. This time it wasn't the key ingredient and I was able to eat the food but before I did I went in to talk to the manager about it and show her how it was missing the red ships. She proceeded to bring every employee over and asked them what was wrong with my taco while I held it open and it was the last person she had asked. It was a very uncomfortable experience and I don't like having to feel like I'm in the wrong or greedy or scheming when they've made the mistake. I don't know what to do I have been researching this legally. But I'm afraid without a good lawyer I don't think I'm...
