It was a terrible experience. We came here at exactly 2:03 pm and the restaurant closes at 2:30pm and the minute we stepped in the 2 employees gave us a bad look and saw us and went inside, chatted and pretended like they didn’t see us. We then sat inside and the server was like “order once, kitchen is closed” I get it and I was like maybe say a hello, let us sit. He was extremely rude and it just made us all very uncomfortable. We ignored and moved ahead- we ordered it all together and first we started with samosa. It was FROZEN and terrible. We had to tell him and again he was so unhappy because we didn’t just eat it. We then got our combo. We finished it, ate other items we ordered and then after we were done they got us our dosa (which was a part of the combo). That dosa was completely cold, we were now like wait, we no longer have chutney, sambar anything and we had to ask him for those things. He was once again frustrated with us.
Maybe hire more, friendly staff because we are surely not coming back here. Basic manners is not too much to ask for. The food also needs some work. The Idli was super dry and my son almost choked on it. Disappointed with this place. If you’re not happy if someone comes almost 30 mins before the restaurant closed then maybe change your timings. Paying customers don’t deserve to be treated like this. The AC was off, there was poor ventilation and it further worsened...
Read moreOver the weekend I went to grab take-out dinner for my family. And, let's just say my experience was not great. And, I will not go there again or recommend.
I called earlier and asked over the phone when they take last call for takeout, I was told 9:30pm. I reached the restaurant around 9:10pm and asked the host if I could make an order. The host said I don't know went to kitchen to ask. Then came out to ask some one else. And finally came back and said yes, like they were doing me a favor. I would think a restaurant which just opened up would be eager to get business. Regardless I ordered 4 dishes: 2 dosa, 1 gobi Manchurian 1 malai kofta.
When I got home, my wife opened her dosa, and the first thing she saw was a long black hair in the dosa. It was disgusting, we threw it immediately. Now let's talk about the other dosa. Absolutely tasteless. Sambar it seemed was just water and vegetables. The coconut chutney was tasteless, no mustard seeds, curry leaves or any other spices. Gobi munchurian, was soft and not crunch. And finally the malai kofta was a joke. The kofta I think they forgot to fry, as there was no texture. The sauce it seems was rushed and you could taste rawness of tomato spices blended with heavy cream.
It is really sad to experience something like this. We ended up throwing more than half...
Read moreIf you want your group to not eat together go here. They will bring food on their own schedule. Vey less quantity rice varieties and Kanjoos stingy place where you cannot even get plates to eat , extra chutney / yoghurt . Owner lady shows faces if we ask questions especially if we are women. She treats like they give food for free. Owner lady is very unkind to elderly old people too, she was very rude to my parents. She has no remorse she got us idiappam ( frozen one with canned coconut milk ) when we were all done with our food and were ready to pay the bill. I requested for yoghurt as I had a small baby and she said she has no yoghurt. How can someone run restaurant without yoghurt ? They gave us biriyani in a bowl and did not even give plates. Wjen asked for plates she said they have limited plates only. Very funny , plz get some knowledge on how to serve not just be money minded. And plz don't put fancy items on your menu and say no we don't have for everything we order. Such a useless restaurant and staff. never...
