Arby's — Restaurant in Bedford

This place beats all I ever seen. Closing hours is 10pm, we sat in the drive thru from 9:40 till 9:55 waiting for someone to take our order. About 5 people sitting inside looking at us, while another car is sitting right behind us. No one thought to tell us they weren’t going to take our orders. So we pull up to the window to ask why they would set there and watch us and the other vehicle set there. After looking at each other (mind you atleast 5 people we could see) they said we closed at 9 because of short staff. The excuse for everything now! Well I’m older now and don’t work in fast food any longer but my very first job was at Arby’s and if we had 5 people that was a good night! Now I know there are actually places that are short staffed right now or could use more help, but 5 people standing there staring at us for 10 mins is ridiculous! 5 people… 3 cooks and 2 people working one drive thur because the dinning area is not opened….id like to know who calls that short staffed. I’d love to know who actually runs the building because I took videos of them and would love for them to see there staff, starring at the customers waiting to order. I’m assuming thinking we’d sit there until 10 on and then they could just say they are closed. Just felt like everyone should know that Arby’s seems to change their hours when it’s convenient for them. If it wasn’t for having 5 people watch us I might have believed the short staff excuse but after pulling up to the window and having them look at each other to see to see what they could say….ridiculous! I’ll be calling all the mangers until I find out who is actually over...

We rarely stop at a fast food place to eat, but today was an exception. My husband was headed out of town and I have to work late tonight so we met in Bedford to grab a quick bite. We both ordered the fish meals and filled our drinks. The food came up and we sat down to eat. The fries were stone cold, not even luke warm so I sat the sandwiches to the side and took the fries back to the counter to let the lady know they were cold. She approached me and said she would fix it. I went to sit back down to open my sandwich and it was also cold. I took both sandwiches back up to the counter and the lady came over with hot fries and I said unfortunately the sandwiches are also cold, she flipped around not saying anything to me and headed towards the back of the kitchen to let someone know I was complaining of cold food. I went back to the table to sit back down assuming that our food was getting fixed. About 10 minutes later she comes over to the table and basically slammed down the tray with two sandwiches on it and says to us " I dropped these myself they should be hot this time" and walks away. Not one time did she apologize, and her manager never said a thing to us either. I have worked in the food industry for over 20 years and have only come across someone so rude a handful of times. I understand things happen and I am usually very understanding because I have been on the other side of situations before. That was completely uncalled for. We will...

The general manager, Jennifer, of this store is SUPER unprofessional. I arrived at the store at 10:30 on 06/05 and the door was locked. There was a sign on the door saying “dining room will be closing this evening.” I called the store asking if she could unlock the dining room door, her response was: “why do I need to unlock the dining room door?” I responded with, “because it’s locked”. She then asked the question again and asked for my name - in which I hung up. While putting my son back in the car, a man (either a friend/husband/maintenance man casually walked outside). She then unlocked the door and yelled, “I’ll unlock the door at 11 when I have some help!” Mind you, there are no cars in the parking lot or drive thru.

I got back in my car and said that was ridiculous. The man butted in and said, “maybe if she had some help she would be able to open at 11. And asked if I wanted to do “something about it.”” After leaving the property, she called me from the store number and after not answering, she called back ON HER PERSONAL CELL PHONE. My girlfriend and I called back this morning telling us we were both barred from the property.
