When you find a cookie that you REALLY like and then go back to get it again, they don't usually have it anymore! We have wanted to buy more of the regular sugar cookies with pink icing ever since we tried them a long time ago, and they've never had it since (at least not at the times we went)! I get the idea of creating variety, but maybe just having a basic set of a few "favorites" (because most of the people I know and have discussed this with, really like this one cookie as well and are also frustrated that they can't get it whenever they want) that are available all the time and then add in a smattering of some "special" cookies here and there might give you more business?? I have literally stopped by my local store in Bee Cave, TX, about 3 or 4 times only to leave disappointed that they didn't have the cookies we like (I left and went to Gi-Gi's and bought cupcakes instead).
Also, I'll point out that the majority of our family and friends (we usually buy these for get-togethers/parties) don't even like the ONE cookie they do have all the time... the chocolate chip. I can't even explain exactly why (maybe too dry or too chocolatety?), but none of us ever crave/buy that cookie. If we want chocolate chip, we'll get Tiff's Treats and mix it up with their yummy oatmeal chocolate chip.
I want to be clear that we do really like a couple of the other random cookies we've tried, but they've mostly been a variant of the sugar cookie with icing (when we could find one), lemon, cinnamon, carmel, and red velvet, etc.
The purpose of this review is not to bash Crumbl because they can make some DARN GOOD COOKIES, but yet only to let them know what their customers want. I think if you just added this one additional basic cookie (sugar with pink (or whatever color) icing) to your "have it all the time" menu, you might find that you have more regular business.
I am only giving a 3-star food and service review to get your attention regarding this request. It is not an overall reflection of your cookies. In fact, the first time we tried your cookies, we thought, "This won't be better than Tiff's, but let's try it anyways." We bought the sugar cookies I keep referring to, a few chocolate chip, and a couple of other "fun ones. " They were a huge hit (except the chocolate chip), and we thought, "Hey, we'll start buying these," only to be disappointed to find out we couldn't get our favorite one again (or if you did have one similar, y'all...
Read moreOn 12/23 I received an order of cookies by surprise. The note was kind and addressed me by name, but there was no sender information. I called the store at 11:10 AM and asked them if they could tell me who sent them. The lady on the phone was incredibly dismissive and short. “No. We can’t do that.” I told them it was odd that they couldn’t see who sent it, because frankly, I’ve worked in both retail and food service and general product ordering and I know that’s not the truth. She was just very unkind on the phone, didn’t offer a workaround, didn’t offer anything. About half the cookies were good, the other half were severely undercooked. Bad customer service on top of that? They don’t even include the name of the person who ordered the cookies on the box? I won’t be back. Treat people better, especially...
Read moreCrumbl has lost major crumbs with me. Taking away the only consistently good flavor; the classic pink sugar cookie, and only bringing it back periodically. I asked an employee why they did that. She replied: “We polled the Nation, and it wasn’t what people wanted.” Umm, excuse me?! What Nation did they poll? A 3rd world Nation? Because, I definitely wasn’t polled! That cookie was the only reason they were getting any of my business. I would get at least a dozen in a month of just those. I have tried other flavors and they are all pretty much a disappointment. Crumbl is definitely trying too hard. If anything, they need to take away their garbage excuse for chocolate...
