Beech Mountain Brewing Company — Restaurant in Beech Mountain

Horrible experience with a horribly rude manager, I believe his name is Ethan. We had a party of 8 for lunch. Hour long wait, which is understandable for the number of people we had but still seemed extremely inefficiently run. Finally, we were seated but sat separately from the rest of our party. There was an empty table next to the other half or our party that just needed to be bussed, so I politely approached the hostess and manager about us moving to the newly empty table and was met with an utterly rude and unprofessional response to the point that our party was being yelled at by said manager who was seemingly on a power trip over where people sat. We were told the table was reserved for another party behind us that had 10 people. After the altercation, we decided to just leave it alone. 15 minutes later and no one was sat at the table next to our party. We order and get our poorly prepared food. My brothers brisket sandwich looked almost raw and his gfs burger was undercooked as well, while my wife's blackbean burger was burned to a crisp. As soon as we start eating another table of 4 was sat at the table we asked to move to and come to find out the 10 person party that that table was "reserved" for had cancelled their reservation. No doubt due to the long wait of a horrible mismanaged establishment. We were never followed up with by the manager about the cancelation to offer some accommodation and apology for the incident that had occured. Although our server was very polite and we liked her very much, we will not be returning. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The GM here deserves to be fired, and your customers and resort guests...

Everything done in Turtle speed! Went in a several days ago, I’ll start by saying, it was not busy. We sat ourselves, which is fine. We waited for someone to come take our order longer than expected. The food took at least 40-60 minutes to arrive, since there were only 7-10 ppl including ourselves in there, way too long of a wait. Mac & cheese bowls were at best lukewarm. The cheese bites, were descent, but I don’t prefer the infused spiciness. The chicken tenders, no side included, were so absolutely gross. Like how do you mess up tenders? I don’t know if it was the breading or brand BUT when I say yuck, I mean I could not even swallow the one bite I tried. They definitely need a new supplier or something. When you pay $14 for four tenders about 2x size of Burger King’s chicken fries, you expect good taste, not these. The brews and tater tots were tasty, very good. Unfortunately we will just eat the lodge/cafeteria food for our winter visits. This was at the Taproom and Grill @ Beech Mountain Brewing Co on Beech Mountain...

Some amazing positives. The beer is really good. Service is excellent!! Here is the gripe. A..very limited vegetarian options. Only one option that has an actual Protein in it they were out of! They tried to tell us well they have salad! Yess the salad was good. However vegetarians.would like a protein source! So call ahead to make sure what they advertise.on the menu is actually available! B. We had a nice cozy spot at the bar sitting in bar seats. However once the band started they take away the bar seating because it's a ' concert' Yess the band was good..however one cannot actually watch the band from the bar are as there is a lovely gas fireplace that separates the bar area from the ' concert ' area. So why not offer more high top.tables or bar seating???? Due to lack of food and not really a good place.ro sit and enjoy our beverages while listening to the band we cut our time short. Money...
