what an incredible beautiful church with one of the greatest views you could ever imagine around the city of Cincinnati overlooking the city you can see the big Mac Bridge the Ohio river the entire shoreline if you will of the city Kentucky including the city of Newport and Covington as well as downtown Cincinnati the great American insurance company which everybody calls the Tiera tower that paid for the name of the ballfield that the Cincinnati Reds play at which is called the great American ballpark which is super cool because that’s a really neat name versus some kind of garbage name like the T-Mobile Stadium or something like that and I can make fun of T-Mobile because I have their service and it’s horrible anyways back to the church this is an absolutely incredible place to go whenever we have friends that come into town we always bring them up here to overlook walk the steps take pictures and selfies and all the likes to enjoy the area there’s plenty of dining restaurants and things to do while you’re up here you can get snacks and drinks and whatever there’s also a neat little alleyway that heads down at around two other streets it is an awesome little place to be at up here on the top of Mount Adams was great rich beautiful history just a really incredible...
Read moreIf you like lectors that make jokes before the first reading, this is the place for you. Also, parishioners that socialize before the 10:30 Sunday morning Mass making it hard to pray and for some reason clap at the end of the Mass. The 4 PM Saturday Mass is much better unless you get the Pastor, Father Barry Windholtz, who tells jokes that have nothing to do with the sermon or readings and goes so fast he's walking all over the parishioners responses. He must have some place to be. Father Brausch does a very reverent Mass and always an excellent sermon. But you really have to work to hear. The sound system is supposedly being fixed/upgraded but don't hold your breath. It's really a shame, beautiful church, decent organ and cantors, and as previously mentioned, Fr. Brausch is great. So far, the best Priest we've experienced in the year we've lived in Cincy. Wish he did the 4 PM Mass on a more regular basis. I don't think we'll be returning. We really tried and thought we finally found a great Catholic Church to attend but too...
