Update 03/17/25
employee slacked off -
I placed an order online at 12:08 pm, and it's still not ready at 12:27 pm. In fact, there was nobody in the shop! I had to go check the back to get the guy out to make my drink... This is insane!!!!!! He totally slacked off for like 30 minutes and he was also rude... he acted like I interrupted his nap or something lol... I'm not sure if he's gonna quit but he certainly acts like it... Like I shouldn't have ordered it lol. I wonder if the owner knows about this, but I'd think 3 times before ordering here again. Such an unacceptable behavior!!! horrible customer service -
I placed an order on hungry panda and waited for 16 minutes, but the drink wasn't done since she has tons of orders. I understand so I didn't say much. Then she microwaves my drink and gave it to me (since I ordered a hot drink), which was fine.
However, my drink was supposed to come with boba but there wasn't any. I reached out to panda, and they told me she told them she handed the drink to me directly and there was boba in there. Yes, she did hand it to me but it has nothing to do with whether there was boba or not. The logic is entirely wrong there.
She microwaves the drink, but the toppings are still cold at the bottom. I see bits of ube chunks and parts of melted mochi, but there is no boba. Plus the toppings were still cold, which shouldn't be the case for a hot drink, but that's besides the point.
I don't understand why she has to lie about something while it's ok to admit she forgot to put boba in. I'm very disappointed in this dishonest place and will not shop there again. It's not about how the drinks are, but about how you operate this place. I don't deal with...
Read moreDrinkT in Asian Family Market is our go-to spot for smoothie boba, and for good reason. Nestled inside the Asian Family Market alongside other eateries in the dining area, it's conveniently located for a quick treat. Parking can be a bit of a hassle depending on the time of day, as the lot tends to fill up quickly. But once inside, ordering is a breeze with their user-friendly touchscreen system.
Now, onto the star of the show—the durian avocado smoothie. If you're a fan of durian's distinctive aroma, this is the drink for you. It's a heavenly blend of two fruit kings, offering a taste and scent sensation unlike any other. Trust me when I say it's the best combo I've ever had in a smoothie.
For those who aren't keen on durian, fear not. My girlfriend swears by the avocado yogurt smoothie, which offers a creamy and refreshing alternative.
While smoothie boba is their specialty, DrinkT also offers a variety of other drinks on the menu. So, if you're looking to shake things up and try something different from your typical boba tea, I highly recommend giving DrinkT a try. It's a delightful departure from the norm that's sure to tantalize...
Read moreOrdered a "牛油果好芒/Mango Avocado Smoothie" here with no sugar.
They claim to use "fresh fruits" with no artificial flavor, but the mango chunks in the drink taste noticeably sweet (I ordered NO sugar), and the texture feels really weird. I have no proof of anything (they block the view) but I suspect they either use some sort of pre-sweeten frozen mangos, or they are using entirely canned mangos. No way this is how "fresh mango" taste like.
For the price they are charging (nearly 10 bucks a drink), it is quite deceiving. Your audience can tell, you can't just say you use "fresh food" when in fact you are not.
Happy to be proven wrong? I doubt a store like this in a food court would care tho. If you want "actual" fruity drinks you probably want to skip this and go to Hey Tea instead...
