My experience at Only Video was amazing! I came in wanting to get some in-person research done for buying my TV, but interacting with the store manager, Sam, made my decision so much easier. Since they just started selling the new model of the LG OLED C1s, so there were some great deals on the previous model. I came in wanting a 55' TV, but came back the next day leaving with a 65' bundled with an LG sound bar. I used the previous night to double check Sam's sales pitch, and everything he said checked out.
Besides the good deal on a TV/sound bar bundle, I felt like the customer support at Video Only went above and beyond. Since the sound bar didn't come with an HDMI cable, Sam went ahead and gave me a complimentary one for the purchase. Additionally, when I told him what type of car I was trying to bring my new purchase in, he told me it probably wouldn't fit (and after seeing the box, it definitely would not have). Since I live relatively close by, he offered to personally deliver my TV and help me bring it in/set it up since I was by myself and it was definitely a two person job.
I would definitely come back to this store for future. There is such a wide selection of TVs on display, which makes it easy to decide what kind of TV you want (in comparison to online shopping, where you just look at specs). In addition, the customer support here is awesome! Sam was super helpful and informative. Read moreI just bought a TV at Video Only. Jeff H at the Bellevue Store was very helpful and gave me a good deal ($150-200 off Amazon pricing). I have two big problems with Video Only.
The TV I bought was on backorder - they didn't know when it was coming in and couldn't give me any estimates. They charged my credit card when I purchased it, but I didn't receive the TV for 3 weeks (and only got it then because I opted for an open-box unit). I "returned" my original purchase and bought the open-box one - it then took 3 WEEKS for me to get the refund on my credit card.
They do not have a refund policy, so if you are unhappy or if the TV breaks, the best you can do is get store credit (which expires after a year). I can't think of another retailer where this is the case.
From what I can tell, they have the best prices around, but the company is run like it's 1984 - literally with a credit card imprint machine. I walked into several other Video Only stores and was flat out ignored and given false information about TV's and inventory. When I called, they said they had the TV I wanted in stock, but when I got to the Lynwood store, they magically had none. Felt like I had walked onto a used car lot on Aurora.
I would only recommend buying here if you are fine not having the option to get a refund and aren't worried about long-term support. I personally won't be shopping there again and would pay extra to have the support & return policy from...

Of course I thought of that giant A-Z online mega-store for a prime deal. But I wanted it NOW! And I really wanted to compare. I had also walked through the blue and yellow mega store, but have you ever seen it not busy? While fun to browse and oogle, it's so hard to concentrate and make an informed purchase decision. Alas, there is a third option, Video Only. I didn't want to be sorry this time, so I asked Siri to take me there. It's non-descript exterior gave way to an even more, perhaps, "humble" interior. But it was all there. I was greated quickly, and pointed straight to the soundbars. Because it was quiet, and I wasn't fighting other customers for space, I was able to poke around, listen, and appreciate the qualities of the 6-8 models available. The salesman wasn't pushy and had all the specs on-hand and was able to actually answer my questions.
