I went there today (9/11/26) for a foot and body combo. The male masseuse started off well. I enjoyed the foot massage. To preface, I've been to many Chinese reflexology places, and to Mu Lan at their old location. I thought it would be the usual back, legs, and shoulder. I don't speak Chinese but I've always been able to communicate with the masseuse. I was okay with stripping down to my underwear since there was an oil treatment.

Things were fine until the guy just takes off my underwear and putting his hand down my butt crack. No warning, no asking permission. Just pulls off my underwear. At one point, I thought he was using his fingers to spread my anus. I told him to stop and he did for a while. Then he goes back to running a hand down my butt crack while the other is doing the usual massage work. There is more, but I think you get the picture. I could not relax when I felt my private areas were being violated.

Again, I've been to massages where the buttocks are massages and you are fully naked. Those places always checked with you before doing anything or you knew what you were getting beforehand.

I do not know the name of the masseuse. His English was not easily understood.

When I told the front desk staff, their English wasn't much better despite the business being in Bellevue/Redmond for over a decade at least. When I told them it was uncomfortable how much he touched me in various private areas, they said that it was normal. Then proceeded to question the masseuse in Chinese in front of me. But nothing. No apology. So,...

Very pleasant and relaxing experience, and so cheap!! I opted for foot massage and even with the 5 percent charge for using a credit card, it came up to $31.50. Unlike what other reviews mentioned, I was not pressured at all to leave a tip- I did leave a big one though of my own violition. When I entered- walk in, no appointment-, I instantly sensed the calming atmosphere, serene music and dim lighting. There is a thin wooden Chinese art screen separating the "lobby" from the main room (which is a little smaller than it appears in the photos online.) I was greeted by a smiling woman at the desk. Now, there is admittedly a serious language barrier here. With some trouble, I explained to her that I wanted a woman only to do my massage. She said "Oh....only man now, no woman." I was disappointed, thinking i would have to come back another day. But - I don't know how- she rustled up a woman masseuse from their back rooms, who instantly swooped in with a hot water bath for my feet and a laundry basket for me to put my things in. She was very kind, smiling, and checking with me all the time to make sure I was comfortable. I recommend wearing either clothing that allows easy access to the upper body, such as a tank top, or a stretchy top that permits their hands to reach your shoulders. . Then when done, I was given a small cup of water by the desk- a very nice courtesy. I now have a punch card and will be sure to return. 100% worth the 30-40 dollars you will pay, with tip. Absolutely the most soothing experience!!...

I came here for 15+ times at least for past few years and it seems like today is my last time to come here and no more again. Mulan is not the best massage in the area but fair massage place for me so far. Today I made appointment for combo massage. It seems like all of masseuse were busy and owner actually did a massage for me. What he’ve done was just pinching or pushing me so hardly. I kept told him it hurts and less pressure please. Then for next few seconds, he did lesser pressure and went back to strong pinching after. Few calling to store during massage and he just answered by one hand and massaged me by the other hand. Three times he left me because either other customer walked in, asked for availability or paid their massage. I only got foot and back massage and no leg because he asked me to move to chair massage. Of course I did not get entire 60 mins massage due to his leaving and still paid 20% tips. Be aware they won’t be happy with 20% tip. They have a tip guideline on the desk and it was 20% tip with unhappy face and 40% tip with happy face. Additionally, my friend also disappointed because masseuse seems she did not even know how to begin or do massage. She was busy at watching how other masseuse do and tried to follow. I see their masseuse were changed so often but they really need to modify their...
