I had my hair dyed from its natural black to a rose gold at this salon, and I had a great experience with Yan. It took 3 rounds of bleach + color, and he was very careful and patient throughout the long process. He put in extra care to make sure the bleach wasn't touching my scalp or skin, and continuously checked in to make sure I was feeling comfortable. He answered the many questions I had about the process and explained the procedure well, double-checking to make sure we were on the same page about what hair cut/color I wanted. Kenneth was also helping to apply the color/beach and he had great attention to detail, recommending for the hair dye to stay longer in the hair for the perfect look, rather than do a rush job as it was getting late.

I really appreciated the attention to detail, making sure that the hair was evenly colored, and taking longer time to let the color develop even if it meant more work for them. My hair looks great and feels healthy. Highly recommend!

Update: the initial pink color faded rather quickly, but that's no fault of the stylists, just how pink hair works. I quite liked the orange-blond it faded to, but Yan also offered me to come back and re-dye my hair with a slightly darker pigment and see if the dye will last longer. Really appreciate the...

When he told me that he's moving to Seattle, I was sad but I wish him good luck. Hopefully my review can help him attract new clients.

Also, he has his own loyalty program for his own clients that is not advertised from the owner/business. He gave me free cuts every 10 visits, usually less than that. Feel kinda bad accepting the free cuts sometimes because those free cuts cost him time and money. However he usually say if you don't accept the free cuts, don't see again... Thats real loyalty to his...

The hair dresser xiaowu cut my hair so much shorter than I said! He was so rude and blamed me saying it was my fault. I told him only to cut it a little bit and showed him exactly where to cut. After the first round of cutting, I told him it was the length I wanted. But I found him still cutting the hair even shorter. I immediately told him it was already short enough, please do not cut my hair any shorter. xiaowu yelled at me and claimed he was cutting the length we agreed before, which I never did. I told him my hair grows very slowly and I am very disappointed with the final length. He never apologized to me the whole time, only tried to blame me for everything. I have never worked with such an unprofessional hair dresser before. I will say this whole experience is "pay to get pissed off". Never want to come back here.
