This was my second time giving a Raising Cane's a shot. I don't get the hype about this place. My drink was 3/4 full of pebble ice so there wasn't hardly any beverage. The fries weren't crispy, and the chicken tasted bland compared to Chick Fil A or KFC ... heck even Burger King's chicken. I chose to leave a review because the service became less than satisfactory when I was held at the first window for someone to count money out of a drawer to switch cashiers or something. 2 associates kept me waiting while they laughed and had a good conversation, then finally someone came to take cash from the drawer. There was no one else behind me, so it would've been more appropriate to switch drawers or whatever after helping me, because they made me wait long enough that the single person ahead of me waited and was handed a big bag of food, etc. No apology for the wait or any acknowledgement. I'm not an entitled person, but feel it was poor judgment whether anyone were to be held up for their side operations and social hour in front...

So I drove off base to grab Raising Cane's for lunch today, and as I was ordering I realized I left my wallet with my ID, cash, credit card, EVERYTHING on my desk. I quickly told the girl what I'd done, and she proceeded to ask me what I wanted to drink. Confused, I went ahead and told her. She then told me to drive to the second window where she gave me my food FOR FREE! I told her I couldn't let her do that, but she insisted. Cane's already gives a military discount, but this was over the top. For a dude going through a bit of a rough patch, kindness and generosity like this really makes a difference. Once again, a HUGE shout out to those out there showing love to those of us wearing the uniform. Y'all...
Read moreThis was my first and (so far) only trip to Raising Cane's. I've heard from others that it's pretty great food, but until they built the new restaurant here in Bellevue I had no desire to drive across town for it. I will note that if you're looking for a varied menu with options, this is not the place to go.
The chicken fingers themselves were basic but very yummy. The Cane's sauce is definitely what takes it up a notch. The coleslaw was just okay, but let's be honest...who's going to Raising Cane's for their coleslaw? I didn't get to try their Texas toast or fries, but my hubby and kids seemed to love them. Oh, and bonus... My 8 year old asked for a chicken sandwich and he really liked it!!
Lastly, the staff at the drive-thru were very friendly and helpful. I look forward to...
