Me and my wife are their daily customers, we enjoy their food and drinks, in fact their Korean style beef is one of the best in town. But the reason of this one star review is because of the owners attitude. We usually call in for to go orders but somehow I think their cell phone had some issues of dropping calls or miss calls, so I went in and ask them about their phone issues, basically just wanna let them know that if I am experiencing this problem some other customers might as well, and to go food businesses are quite important to a restaurant so want them to be aware of their phone line. BUT the owner’s attitude was very bad, she took the phone and said there are no calls that came in and with a poker face on.... well I guess that’s my point of telling you because your phone have problems of not ringing. She didnt get my point and she told me am I going to order or not with a very annoyed voice. I was quite disappointed because I love their food and just wanted to let them know about something that they can work on to make it a better place but I guess the owner didn’t understand. Please Fix...
Read moreWent there for lunch and tried the Korean Kalbi beef lunch combo. Unfortunately it is mostly greasy, disgusting fat (see photo), barely any lean meat in it. Complained to the waitress and was told "we will do it better next time". Come on, if you don't want to fix the problem this time, there would not be another customer for "next time".
Updated review to reflect my recent experience. This is a newly-opened hole-in-a-wall place for a quick bite of traditional Taiwanese food. However the quality of food is either hit or miss, depending on when you come and what you order. For exampe, rice bowl with pork belly (控肉便当) is soft and delivious sometimes, but under-cooked some other time. Rice bowl with red wine beef (红酒牛肉便当) has a sour taste most folks would not tolerate. Service is fast when there are not too many people waiting. Price is a bit expensive, compared to other Taiwanese restaurants in the area. Try to beat the crowd by coming earlier to skip the...
Read moreSo tbh i came to try this place because it was nearby and wanted to try something a little different with Taiwanese food. I got the crispy cod and the nori fries that had some seaweed flakes sprinkled on top. I was sort of disappointed as i expected the dish to be presented as it's shown on their website and as you can see it does not look anything like it. I would say there was nothing that stood out in their food from any other Chinese takeout. I think the best part i enjoyed were the fries with the spicy mayo. The crispy cod dish was just plain simple and very bland. This was labeled as a popular item so i went and ordered it along with the fries and after tasting both i can see the fries being popular but thats about it from both my items. Idk if i would recommend this to friends but if you work nearby or in the area and craving Chinese/Taiwanese this could be a spot for you to get rid of them craves. I really had high hopes but i guess on to the next one. Thank you all for reading my Opinion...
