Burger and Kabob Hut — Restaurant in Bellevue

Please read the complete review before deciding to eat here. Their food used to be fine (mainly the Seattle branch) but now it is terrible. I ate here last night and ordered chicken masala burger and goat masala burger and everything was cold even after having been told that they were preparing it fresh. We also ordered fries and they too were ice cold.

Moreover, I used to think their food is halal after reading some early reviews here. But after reading so many recent reviews here last night stating that it isn’t halal I decided to ask them once again. They told me to my face that it is halal. I asked them to show me either a halal certificate or a storage bag which says halal or anything else that might satisfy me and then their whole tone and expression changed. The person who was taking the order started deflecting the question and said that the owners buy the ingredients not us. They had nothing to show for it. You would think that after so many poor reviews alleging that their food isn’t halal, they would either keep a halal certificate or at least a bag with a halal label in which they bought the chicken. However, that isn’t the case. Their meat isn’t halal and they are misleading people by saying it is halal. I was already going to give up on them after having been served cold food but this halal issue just adds insult to the injury.

If you are coming here thinking that their food is halal, it isn’t. I would request all Muslim brothers and sisters to take their business to a different establishment that is legit and doesn’t mislead people and that actually serves good food. There are quite a few of them...

Bigger place, finally you can sit and eat peacefully. New dishes added, try out yourselves Looks like they would have a lunch buffet Thalis added Support Apple Pay More and better restrooms. Generally this should not matter, but you will soon know. Weekend lines would be too huge, Seattle branch has a really bad restroom.

Hands down, these are the best desi burgers in and around greater Seattle area. I have been visiting them for over 2+ years at their Seattle branch. BOOM, they are now in Bellevue.

Absolutely amazing food, cooked fresh. Very nice people as always. Very affordable food. Excellent addition to Bellevue’s desi restaurants.

This was honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. We placed an order and first paid with a card. They told us the payment didn’t go through, so we went ahead and paid in cash. Later, when checking our account, we saw that the card payment had actually gone through as well.

We went back to the restaurant to resolve the issue, but instead of handling it professionally, the staff started arguing with us. They were extremely rude, raised their voices, and even used swear words. They kept saying it wasn’t their problem and told us to “call the bank,” refusing to give our money back. The way they treated us was shocking.

On top of that, the food wasn’t even worth the hassle. The burgers were bad, and the overall service was terrible. In the end, we actually had to call the cops, only then did they finally give the money back. 😂😂

With that kind of attitude and customer service, I don’t see how this place will succeed. Definitely would...
