My kids and I had breakfast at this location a few weeks ago and requested the 'impossible meat sausages' along with pancakes & eggs, due to our dietary restrictions. I immediately started having doubts about the vegetarian sausages as soon as those were served but I waited out of respect and trust, until the waiter brought the bill and upon asking- she confirmed that they were in fact pork. And as a muslim, pork and alcohol are simply a NOT OK - FORBIDDEN. It was unacceptable. Interestingly this store is located in one of the most diverse areas of Bellevue/ Redmond, and being in the food business you would expect them to know their customer dynamics which is largely made up of hindus (vegan/vegetarian) and muslims (halal only), yet the nonchalant attitude of the waitress who offered me a $5.00 gift card as refund, instead of admitting her mistake and actually trying to make it better, was just unbelievable! I did end up paying for the entire meal to not cause a scene with other diners present, leaving the leftovers behind. Once I got out, I called the store to talk to the manger and requested the full amount back because, in my opinion, our experience there had been extremely unpleasant and it was a fair compensation to simply refund my $79 (which by the way is a hefty amount to pay for eating tasteless and forbidden food while enjoying the ambiance of dirty toilet and burnt egg smells and sitting on a grimy table.) I was promised a refund and I was satisfied with their response and which was probably the only way for me to go back there again, since my kids like going here. A few weeks had since passed and when I looked at my bank statements I realized that it was never done. So I called the store once again, since now it was a matter of principle, and the attitude was yet again the most non customer friendly as I had expected it to be and it almost seem like I was trying to rob them and causing their collapse by asking for my $79 back, which according to them had happened too long ago to be refunded etc. I was again offered a $10 discount whenever I came in next and asked for it under my name- which is hilarious becuase we are never going here again, and the lady by the way ended the call midway and my calls went on vm after that. And that is what has compelled me to share this with all of you to not allow them to charge you $500 for a cheap ihop breakfast with such attitude and simply no regard to your cultural or religious beliefs. I wish I could give them less than one star and teach them what customer service actually looks like. Oh yes, their service is extremely slow and the food is cold, burnt and highly unseasoned which actually made my son gag a few times but he kept eating out...

Read moreAt about 1pm today my cousin, husband and I went to this Ihop to eat. When we got there we got seated right away it was great. The server asked what we would like to drink I asked for water and they asked for coffee. I got my water right away, she told us they were making more coffee and it would be just a few more minutes. Ok no problem we work in the food industry we get it. 25 min later and I mean 25 min later I had to asked for their coffee. She says yeah just a sec. 5 min later she comes back with their coffee and says I am sorry about that my section got changed and I forgot. I'm thinking forgot what the coffee or us or how about both. She says I'll be right back with your food another 5 min go by and she shows up with my food my cousins food and the eggs hashbrowns and bacon part of my husband's food. He asked for sausage not bacon but wait it gets better. It was so hot you could keep Ice cream cold on it. Yes it was Ice cold. He got up took it to her and said I asked for sausage not bacon and why would you serve this to anyone and placed his hand right on top of all the food. She brought his food out and it was super hot. The food once it was right was great. This ladys service on the other hand was terrible we were there for 1hr and 10 min. keep in mind we have a 5 month old son so we pick fast places to eat so that we don't have to worry about him getting too fussy. We had to try and entertain him for over an hour in this place. This was hard when we were all hungry and irritated because we sat there for so long with no service. Like I said before we all work in the food industry cousin is a server, husband is a delivery driver and I am a restaurant manager have been for 10 yrs. For me this lady would not have a job and if I did not have enough to get rid of her I would be following up with all of her guests every day. The food was really...
