Staff is very friendly and the food is AMAZING!!! I ordered a "SMALL" bowl of soup; a number 5 and added meatballs. Plus I wanted one of their fresh shrimp rolls and peanut sauce, which normally comes as a set of 2 rolls. However this is the first place I have been where they had no problem just giving me 1 instead and cutting the price. The ingredients we're all super fresh and taste like they came straight from the garden to my dish. I've ate at a lot of Pho restaurants and this place has some of the best flavor I've ever tasted!!! The size could be overwhelming if you didn't know what to expect but even I didn't expect the size bowl I received!! I ordered a SMALL and was grateful for my boyfriend joining me because even between the two of us eating, we couldn't finish the whole bowl! For less than $15 both myself and my boyfriend got full and were still lucky enough to have some soup left over to bring home. I am absolutely thrilled with my visit to Pho Tai and plan on making this a more regular visit when I'm in the area. Thank you to the staff!! You were very friendly and are doing a great jobl!! I look forward to seeing you again soon! And if anybody is curious about trying this type of food, this is the place to go! Other places tend to be watered down and can be a bit disappointing, leaving you wanting more. These guys have...
Read moreUsed to be good, but they've fallen off a cliff into the absolutely shamefully terrible category now.
We should all tip our hats and have a moment of silence in respect for mourning the passing of what was once a respectable pho restaurant. Because what it is now... is not.
It boggles the mind how bad this place is now.
They are riding the wave a good reviews from months/years ago to keep a decent rating. Just out of sheer curiosity, I invite you to go here, order the carrot beef stew, and tell me if the shameful embarrassment of what they bring out is anything that even vaguely resembles or tastes like it should. Spoiler: it will be an absolutely pitiful excuse of something passed off as "food". Shame on them.
You only have a finite amount of meals you can eat in your lifetime. This place is literally a waste of a meal in your life. You're better off rummaging through a dumpster and eating trash because unlike what you eat here now, at least the trash would actually have some flavor.
Do yourself a favor and go to an actual pho restaurant that has flavor, decent quality ingredients, and a real pride of their cooking. None of which you...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars I would. I'm really surprised other people have liked this place... Maybe they have never had actual good pho. Since Saigon City has closed we have searched for our new spot. We've tried lots of places and many of them are good or great ranging in prices. However we want to give all the places a try in case sometbing really fantastic comes along. That is NOT this place! How can rice be crunchu and soggu at the same time? How is all your beef in the pho chewy and hard to swallow? The. Noodles???? Not fresh. The pork dish?? Dry like someone who has never cooked pork made it. Yuck yuck yuck! Thing is I am not even that picky. If it had been so so I would not have rated it but this is outrageous!! Go somewhere else this is a waste of money and we are all sad that our...
