I saw this place has a high rating and decided to give it a try. I came with the family. Everything in the menu looked good. The one taking my order was super confusing to me. I didn't know if I should say ma'am or sir, but was helpful taking my order... My significant other went with the beef bom bom wrap, California tempura roll, my daughter with chicken udon noodles, I went with half chicken half beef fusion tacos, and got some bom bom balls for us to try out. Ok, so tacos were the least liked. Nothing exceptional stood out. Everything on the tacos was bland chicken was just ok, beef was just ok, teriyaki was hardly distinguishable, veggies were the most noted in the tacos, I wouldn't order them again. BomBom balls, which are fried rice balls with chicken or beef teriyaki inside, they were lacking flavor you could not taste anything but the fried rice and being that it was fried, the outside was hard af, felt like I was going to crack a tooth biting into fried hard rice, would not encourage to order them. Next, the chicken udon, nothing exceptional noodles, were tasteless, chicken was just there no seasoning, teriyaki was pale flavored, only thing you can barely taste were the veggies it had. I did get to try the bom bom wrap it was surprisingly good. You could actually taste some of the beef with some teriyaki, rice, and veggies. Best of all was the sushi good flavor. The spicy mayo gave it some type of flavor to make up for the weak teriyaki sauce they use. Overall, I wasn't impressed, 2 out of the 5 dishes were just ok. Good if I'm being nice. I doubt I'll be back, maybe recommending just the sushi and the bom bom wrap... maybe.

Beware! Price on the board is not the same when you pay. I ordered a beef deluxe burrito and it came out to $14.99 when the price on the board shows $13.99. I noticed after I got my food and asked the owner why it's $1 more when I got charged. She responded "we change prices all the time." What does that even mean?! If you are going to increase the price, at least change it on the board so other customers can see. It's not the $1 but the principal. Kinda pricey for mediocre food. Nothing special that makes the food stands out from other teriyaki places. The sauce isn't home made and it comes premade from a big bottle brand. The chicken was a bit dry. Overall I wouldnt come back as there are at least 3 other teriyaki places within 5 miles.

I ordered a chicken teriyaki plate to go. I noticed that the chicken was precooked and simply reheated on the pan (it was an open kitchen, so I could see how they cooked). The chicken was chopped into very small pieces and spread over the rice, with some pieces being very dry. The rice was very sticky and seemed like it had been cooked earlier in the morning. The chicken teriyaki plate costs $13.99 and comes with a lettuce salad. Today was my first and last visit.

Y'all KooKoo for Cocoa Puffs

Sadly, I didn't have the mind blowing experience everyone else had here. I even brought my mind blowing helmet. Maybe it was the extreme hype, maybe it was the long drive to get there, maybe it was getting there off hours and being the only customers at 2pm, who knows, maybe it was the food...who cares, I was a Trix kid anyways.

Lil' Jon's favorite Lyric

It was "oKkaYyYYyY". For once I didn't order half the menu, I'm getting a big belly and need to jump on that P90X if I keep continue eating like this. KooKoo balls were fried way too long and the "crispy" rice was rock hard literally getting stuck in my teeth like little seeds. The burrito was good then it gets better towards the bottom where all the juice flows and all the flavors merge. Fug. That's good just like the end of a Chipotle burrito,...
