They deserve no stars at all!
Went today for the first time since they reopened and the lady Erica P was at the window and had rubbed her nose with her right pointer finger twice I told her I didn’t want the food until she washed her hands and to remake it. She slammed the window and would never tell me who to call but instead look it up. She threw the food that was in the bag on the counter for the other girl to see and continued to go back and forth with me. I’m not going to lie about anything and she kept saying but I didn’t make your food doesn’t matter she touched t straw the cup the bag and box. I’m 36 weeks pregnant and easily get sick so I’m big in hand washing. She continue to slam the drive through door told me she was calling the laws she said she was the manager and was refusing my service. I went back and forth with her letting her know I’ve managed salons and there’s no way in hell I would become upset with a customer who wasn’t satisfied! She has bad customer service and doesn’t belong there. She doesn’t have managing skills and I told her all of that. Erica B I think came and asked what I would like a refund or what I explain to her I haven’t paid and just wanted the franchise number and they both told me to get it on line neither knew the store number but to look it up. Every store has a complaint number listed in their store everyone but they don’t. I will not ever in my life come back here or recommend it to anyone. They should have...
Read moreSo this was my first visit to this location. It was my purpose to write a review. I did the drive thru. I only saw the outside it clean, and the building, parking lot, and landscape were maintained. Could give you that 5th star on the Atmosphere. My drive thru experience was "helpful" but notably, patient kind and polite. Hello, management and franchise owner. Make her a trainer with a raise. So I got the Surf & Truf meal with adding 2 catfish. As seen in the photo, that 7 prices of seafood. The salad really impressed me. Also, I was impressed that I got fork 2 napkins and 2 packets of cocktail sauce, 3 tartar sauce, and no dressing, I asked for none. I mention this because how many times have you ordered hamburger with certain condiments, and it's made wrong orworset than that no napkin and you are in your car. Well, that was a rant, right. So, back to my order. I went here because recently I went to that place next to DQ on Bellmead Dr. I got 2 catfish meal for the same price, just 2 catfish fillets for the same price. As awesome was my drive-thru order, the window experience was even better. My cashier was a kind, sweet, professional. If you are lucky like me, you might get to have the cutie Leslie be you Host (it's listed on the receipt). Their word, not mine. The 1st winner of my new...
Read moreI have to say, Golden Chick is hands down the best place to get chicken, as a matter of fact, I have never been to a golden chick that has let me down, It clearly trumps its competitors, Bush's, Church's, and Chicken Express. I get the four piece tender box just about every time I go, It comes with four tenders, fries, a roll, and gravy. You also have the option to get their chicken spicy, which I highly recommend. The gravy and roll is nothing special, The fries are above average, comparable to that of the sacred McDonald's fry. But they're chicken, that's where Golden Chick comes out on top, unlike their competitors, Golden Chick has never given me a tender where the breading was too tough to chew on, or their chicken slightly undercooked. Before and during covid-19, they had always kept their restaurant very clean. Their food is ever so slightly more expensive than most their competitors, using the four piece tender box, at each location, Golden Chick has the second most expensive pricing, coming in at $10, Chicken Express being the most expensive, at $11, or sometimes $12, with Bush's Chicken being around $9, with Church's, being the cheapest at about despite being one of the most expensive, I will say it is number one out of their main four...
