Usually quite good but last night, it was the pits. We got seated right away which was a plus and one of the few. When my friend asked what beers they had on tap, the waitress Aleena said, "oh all the ones over there against the wall." Really? That was a satisfactory answer to a booth sitting on the opposite end of the entire restaurant? No one could have read those tap handles if they were 50% closer. Unacceptable. You either know them and or you go find out what they are and tell us when you return to our booth. My mojito was strictly sour mix, a little rum, no limes and one shredded mint leaf. That's it. First of all, it's a simple sugar mix, not sour mix. Second, it should be loaded with mint leaves. And third, there should be several limes on it. And yes, I've had their mojitos before and they were quite good because their iced tea is extremely putrid. Because we ordered a potato wedge appetizer, I did not want fries with my wings. I asked the waitress what else I could get instead of the fries. She rattled off a number of items including a salad or mac and cheese. I went with the latter and should have gone with the former. Big mistake - the mac and cheese was still chilled and not cooked through. Sent that back for another. And then when the bill came, she charged me for the mac and cheese as a whole separate side dish. Um no, sweetie. It was in place of the fries which I declined. If there was a upcharge for them of about 50 cents or a dollar, okay but for any price difference, be it 50 cents or the $3.29 I was charged, then I should have been notified before agreeing to the item substitution. Now this is a first - I had to ask for extra napkins. At Buffalo Wild Wings. While having wings. Eating them by hand. Seriously? They've always thrown them at us whether we've asked for them or not. Did the napkin truck not show up today, along with lime and mint trucks? And as if I wasn't already ticked off enough, the carrots I received must have been the bottom of the package because they were just little nubs of real carrots. And I guess no one felt like opening a new package to fill in the gaping whole meant for real carrots in my cardboard tray. Carrot truck must have gotten lost too. I finally called the manager on duty over since Aleena wouldn't have known what to do next, explained all the issues I had, he took off the charge for the mojito and the mac and cheese, and gave us another 25% off discount. Thank you. What a disappointing visit. We'll be back but it...
Read moreMy family & I are frequent visitors with Bdubs. We decided to come in Friday night. Again we are frequent visitors so I know when bdubs is packed this night was NOT packed. It was a nice crowd but snot packed to the point where there was a wait. I have 3 daughters and my youngest is 3. She sits us behind the host window in the bar area where the tall chairs are. So I told her I would like another table because my baby isn’t big enough & she could potentially fall off one of those tall chairs. I asked her could we get a booth & was told wasn’t any available but we’re walking past many booths that are dirty and just need to be cleaned in which I told her I had no problem with waiting, because she tried to sit us back by the kitchen area where it was already tables seated and congested. A waitress had offered to clean the table for my family to be seated & she ignored it constantly saying they’re not available. The manager is standing back by the kitchen. He & I manager (ERIC MILLER) make eye contact but he coldly and rudely turns his nose up and turns and ask her what the problem is. I asked him could I speak with him because ALL i wanted was a booth for my baby. This man gave me the coldest stare like I was the scum of the earth. Never even acknowledged me. I have never in my Life been treated such a way ever. This man lacks customer service at an all time high & from speaking to his staff it seems like he is known for being a VERY RUDE & unpleasant PERSON to work with. My family love this place & so do I & to be treated as such is completely baffling and unbelievable! This HAS BEEN POSTED ON...
Read moreWent over the weekend. What a terrible experience. For starters, we had a new guy and I'll adjust my expectations based on his inexperience (everyone has to learn)--even with that downward adjustment to expectations, it failed to meet them. It was not very busy and it appeared that there was adequate wait staff for the number of folks there--even assuming that some were new. We had to ask repeatedly to get things like refills on drinks, a high chair, etc. I requested my wings to be extra wet and they were bone dry. I would have thought that the waiter forgot to ask (he was new) but there was a sticker indicating that they were extra wet.
Eventually, we asked for the bill. I don't know how long exactly it took to get the bill, but I know it was wrong when we first got it and then another 21 minutes AFTER that we got the corrected bill. My brother, ever-the-Karen, did ask for a manager. After 15 minutes from that request, we got the bill, never did see a manager. Which is fine, I really just wanted to get home.
It used to be that this B-dubs was the better to go to in Rock County. It was not as busy as Janesville and service (and food) was better. Not anymore. This is not a one-off experience here, but it is the worst visit in recent history. I won't be coming back until someone else wastes their money to see if they've fixed...
