If I could give a negative 50 stars for this place I would. My daughter dropped off her laptop to have the charging port replaced. They told her it would be a week max to get it repaired. I stopped in there and paid for the repair before it was fixed to help my daughter out since she is a college student. To shorten the story - my daughter called every week to check on the process to which she was told we fix phone's first or we do'n't have the part. They NEVER contacted her until she left a negative review and then used intimidation tactics to try to get her to remove her review. They sent her a text message telling her to come get her laptop that they were cancelling the order because of her negative review. I met with Michael, he was the one who took the payment. I had to drive out there again with my card so they could credit me since they now refused to do the repair. Michael would not even come out from the back, he sent someone else to deal with it. He can use the excuses of covid and shipping but it boils down to you told her a week max. You had it for 5 weeks, did not update her at all during those 5 weeks, and then used intimidation tactics to get her to remove her review and when she didn't refused to do the job. What kind of company is this? I will never go to the Beloit store, will never recommend that store and will continue to inform people of how this store operates. Read moreI'm not sure how to reveiw this situation, my son's Xbox breaks I take it here they were beyond great! 3 days later broke again same thing. Delt with rudeness, very unprofessional guy that I guess was the same guy that was very professional when I came in the first time. I was told by him they use Xbox Microsoft products as I asked why you can buy a power supply for 15.00 at Walmart but it was almost 190 to fix it. OK, so I ask for a manager after the rudness and unprofessional and got Kelsey she said it was likely a bad power supply they put in and to brink it back. She was very professional and said bring it back, also told me they did NOT use Microsoft products. It was in perfect condition when we brought it back the 2nd time. I pick it up it had scratches all over the back where they must of had to open it to fix it, I tried to let that go and just enjoy my son had his Xbox back and he was happy. I only allow 3 hours on the weekends and 2 hours durning the week. Today BROKE AGAIN, same thing not even 2 weeks after they fixed it again for the 2nd time. So what 20 hours or so of playing time, what is going on???? Read moreI was told the repairs on my laptop would take a week to fix maximum. It has now been over a month they have had my laptop and I have gotten one single call from them with an update. Who knows when they’ll get around to actually fixing it since they state even when they have the parts needed to repair my laptop that they do phone repairs first and are their “priority”. I have college classes coming up in a couple weeks and this has made getting prepared super inconvenient. Once I posted this review the Beloit store decided instead of fixing their mistake that they would instead cancel my order and not fix my laptop unless I change my review- talk about a weird intimidation tactic. After this incident I will drive the further distance to go to the Janesville store that provides me with much better service. In the five minutes I spoke with the Janesville store, they not only were prompt with contacting me but offered to temporarily fix my laptop so I could use it while waiting for parts. The Beloit store had my laptop for a month and never offered doing so. In conclusion, go to any other ubreakifix store in your area because they will be way more professional than this one. Worst experience I have ever had with a company.
