Continuously disappointed by Bogey's. Unfortunately this is a long story, settle in. TLDR: undercooked, unwillingness from store to correct or make right.

Tonight we got take out from Bogey's. Not only did they get my burger wrong (it had two slices of tomato that I had requested be completely withheld), but my husband and I got almost half way through our burgers and found they were pink! We are not ok with pink on a burger, we like well done and thought we didn't need to specify. It literally says on a sign inside the establishment "all burgers cooked well done", even called and confirmed it with the staff after the fact as this was a take out order. Since the burgers were halfway eaten through, I didn't even request a refund or a remake (additional story on why to follow) but had to make them aware that the burgers were not cooked to their own specifications and hopefully they would be more diligent next time.

Now as to why I didn't ask for a refund. This sadly isn't the first time this has happened. Again, it was another take out order. When I called and asked for a remake or refund they told us to bring THE ENTIRE ORDER back, when only 2 of the 4 burgers were wrong. We didn't want the CORRECT burgers to get cold taking them back to the restaurant then back home. We didn't want those remade just the ones they got WRONG. They claimed that taking back the order was their policy to get a refund or remake. What?! So no, this time they were wrong I did NOT request a refund or remake because I don't trust in their willingness to correct their mistakes.

After multiple failed attempts, we are no longer going to return and they are no longer going to be our recommendation for a great burger in Bend. For how expensive it is, they should be making the orders correctly. Do...

A friend and I decided to try out Bogey’s Burgers in Bend the other night. We went around 8 p.m., and while the restaurant was empty of dine-in customers, a few people came in to pick up takeout orders. The atmosphere was pleasant and had the feel of a classic burger joint. That said, there were no booths—only tables lined up along the back wall. Personally, I think swapping those for booths would make the space feel a lot more inviting.

Another thing I noticed is that there wasn’t a posted menu anywhere inside. Instead, the waitress handed us laminated menus. Not a big deal, but it seemed a little unusual that they don’t have a sign or board as almost every other restaurant would have?

We each ordered the Big Bogey Bacon Burger ($15.50) along with a side of fries ($5). The food came out quickly, and the quality was solid. The burgers tasted fresh, the toppings were correct, the buns were warm, and overall it felt well put together. The fries were tasty, though cut very thin—more shoestring style rather than the thicker fries you often see elsewhere.

The service was kind and easygoing, which added to the experience. Overall, I’d recommend Bogey’s Burgers and would eat there again. My only hesitation is the value—at about $20 for a burger and fries, you might find your money stretches a little further at some of Bend’s other local...

The employees like the manager Mike is awesome. Everything else about our experience was awful. I tried ignored the price (after being shocked at how expensive it was) hoping the food would be epic like that signs say, to make up for how much we just paid. The food is subpar to be polite. And it is so expensive for basic (fast food tasting) food. You might as well go to a drive thru fast food, because that’s exactly what it tasted like but triple the price. I wish I had taken pictures of our food, it even looked thrown together. Again, we ignored how it looked (sometimes good food is unflattering, but taste delicious) not in this case, no one liked their food. We had French fries which were soggy, a wedge salad, 2 burgers and a chicken sandwich. All of it was flavorless and soggy. The pricing online is not correct either, so that was a nice shock from the start when we went inside. Unfortunately, I just cannot recommend this place in anyway. And I’m surprised they have made...

I gotta admit... This is one of the best burger joints on Earth I have ever eaten at. They have a bold advertisement "Best Burger on Earth." My beautiful wife and I ordered the Bogey Cheeseburger with regular fries (specifically bleu cheese on my burger). This is the first burger joint I have seen to educate their customers on the best part of the cow to eat a burger, not ground sirloin, not ground round, not ground brisket, but ground chuck. Excellent customer service. Customers can dine outside the restaurant. We recently drove back to Bend and tried their burgers/fries, again. The burgers/fries were just as good the second time with an addition of chicken wings! We plan to try their milkshakes on our next trip to Bend. Bogey's Burgers has a second location in Redmond, Oregon. And hey, if you live in Memphis, Tennessee or plan to visit Memphis, Tennessee, stop at my cousin's burger joint Sweden Kream and buy a cheeseburger/fries/milkshake. You will not be disappointed. Thanks.
