I am writing this review in response to an experience and not the pizza. If it were just the pizza, I would give Cibelli's 2.5 stars as mildly decent.
I called to order pickup for a small Margherita pizza for my daughter and I. However, she does not like basil, so I requested they leave basil off of half the pizza. I was told, due to the pizza being a small, they could not do half and half orders and could not accommodate me. I replied saying I would pay full price, I was not making huge alterations or requesting different toppings, I simply wanted basil left off of half the pizza, which felt like could be very easily accomplished by telling the chef making the pizza, "Hey, please leave basil off half of that." I was again refused, and was sent to a manager, who continued the corporate speak saying they simply could not fulfill my very simple request, I would have to order a medium or pick it off (it is difficult to pick herbs off a melty cheese pizza!) To be honest, I told the manager my request was simple, easy, and it was absurd they couldn't handle it. I was told I could not order any pizza from them, and was hung up on.
Bend is a wonderful city, and I absolutely love it, but I am very tired of all the terrible service at many eating establishments, overpriced mediocre food, and people who seemingly do not care about helping customers out. This was just the most...
Read moreLots to be thankful for. About 2 weeks ago, In a so called nice town (maybe 20 years ago) where a guy's roommate accidentally locks her keys in the car, I tried to resolve this dilemma by politely asked if I could barrow a "blank" (no not a slim Jim) to possibly retrieve entry, Everyone looked at me like I had 3 eyeballs. After they scoffed at my ask. No surprise to a Redman. Dressed well, polite. Surprise surprise ,Never enough. However. I go into Cibellis and once more with an explanation and one more ask. Unheard of anymore , these guys inspite of clearly having no way to confirm my intensions. They let me barrow what needed. I hoped it would help. But it didn't. Didn't work. But they're kindness was beyond encouraging for a man as I am. Every week one more person renews my faith in bend with a kind gesture. The kindness exampled by the crew at Cibellis omygosh. Bend. They nailed it. All I know now is I look for excuses to give them my hard earned money haha. They are the last of a unique local. And by unique I simply mean - Kind. Y'all have no idea how incredibly greatful I am for you guys. Do not change . Bend needs you and anyone like you. And PIZZA !!!!! Of course. Thank you guys for being kind to me. Man give your parents a big hug for me and tell them Gabe says." Thank you- from the bottom of my heart. You have raised GOOD kind...
Read morePurchases a giant size combination pizza from the southside location. Very first piece of pizza took a bite. There was a 2-3 inch hair in it.
Took the pizza to the northeast location because that’s where I live (picked up pizza at south-side on my way home from work). Brought in the whole pizza, minus the one piece that had the hair on it. I was told I had to drive the pizza all the way back to the southside to return it. Took a half an hour out of my day off to drive a pizza across town to just get a refund and hand them the pizza back.
The time and money to drive all the way to the southside and back instead of the northeast side just dealing with it was ridiculous. A $40 pizza ended up costing me time and money and handed them the pizza back. So I LOST MONEY!!!!!
Next time you order a pizza there look at their dress code. No one has any kind of hair.nets. The girls have their hair back but some of the guys just have longer hair. The hair in my pizza was about 2in long. I’m blonde with long hair.
Hairs in food happen in food service but for them to make me looses time and money to hand them back the pizza was ridiculous. Both managers said they no control over it?! So buyer beware! We’ve purchased pizzas for years with them and will...
