Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Bensalem Township

Popeyes chicken are finger linking good except this spot is not the right place to get it. The customer service is beyond horrible. We ordered the special for 24.99 at the drive through and was charged $30. After inquiring why the price was different, we were told we saw the wrong price and was asked to go around and take a pic? What??? We ended up taking a pic of the big sign they posted in front and show the cashier. She again argued with us and claimed that theres no way we could have seen the special at the drive thru since her boss had removed it. She then proceeded to ask for our food back claiming they had to take back 1 extra piece of chicken. What??? Is this even legal especially during covid? By this time, 15 min had past and we were holding up the lines. We had to explain to the cars behind us what had transpired and heard the one car yell.. and I quote.. "You mean the special for 24.99? We order the same thing." We said good luck to the other customer and drove away with a bag of chicken and no sauce, gravy, and utensil. Apparently they forgot to put those back after returning the bag of food to us. Never again! I'll gladly skip my craving or try our luck with the Popeyes from the next town then to go through this...

Look, atmosphere inside the restaurant isn’t why I go. I go because Popeyes food is delicious, and (for the most part) when I’ve given them regular business in the past, they’ve treated me well. It’s good people at this store. But this 2-star review is absolute highest rating I can give when 5 TENDERS (no meal) costs more than a large Big Mac meal at McDonalds. $15 for JUST the five tenders. What IS that??? That should be the price of a COMBO! And the woman at the window told me this is “the promotion.” Really? A PROMO??? If I hadn’t reflexively handed my card over or she’d heard me go “Wait. Did you just say $14.99?!” then I would have left. The only reason I’ll be back is if I have good coupons and because my kitchen is being remodeled. Once that’s done, I can’t justify anymore trips to Popeyes. This company needs to stop ripping off its customers. That’s not on anyone at the store level I don’t think, but it’s still...

I went to Popeyes to get that newchicken sabdwich which wasnt available of course after going to at least 4 different locations. If you ask me I think they're trying to get rid ofsome of there old inventory, the sign stating that they are out of chicken sandwiches are only located on the menu screen after waiting in the extremely long lines and most ppl order something because your stunk in the line andcant get out because of where the sign is located that they are out of chicken the wings were so small they look like theybelong to a pigeon and the brest wrte extremely small i havent seen a breast that small in a very long time considering i seen 24.00 on 2 breast 4 wings and two sidesif i were you i would wait until this chicken sandwich craze dies down before going into a popeyes.
