Their solution to an upset customer is to not face the issue at hand. Instead it's to block that customer from Facebook and not deal with it. How unprofessional!
Once upon a time we frequented here twice a week and also bought friends cofee from here too.
Here is my review: They are now THE MOST expensive coffee company in the entire area and do not offer the same allergy friendly accommodations such as dairy-free utensils and steam cups and PinkHouse Alchemy syrups.
I've asked them before and brought it up to them that we'd gladly pay $0.50 per shot of syrup if they brought in PinkHouse and that I'm sure others would as well since thats what other coffee shops in the area do. They were concerned with the price still
This last time when I went in a few days ago they were the most expensive coffee shop in the entire area with two 14oz coffee's costing us $14 WITHOUT tip!
For Almond Milk and PinkHouse alchemy syrup in the area I've never paid more than $11 for 2 drinks... without tip.
After we ordered we went to the drink pick up area. I wasn't paying attention but my husband was and pointed out all the milk everywhere. There's no way that we would NOT get cross-contact with milk (while we understand its a possibility this was a definite) with how filthy it was with milk all over the place.
We got a refund and left.
The staff is also not the same staff that was there 2.5 years ago when we originally visited and has some of the worst attitude like we were bothering them.
We wont be back. Ever. We will continue to go to 211 cafe, Onyx or many of the other coffee shops in the area that make us feel welcome, are aware of allergens better and offer Pinkhouse Alchemy...
Read moreMe and my husband have gone here a few times. Our experience prior to today was really great! The inside is pretty and clean, staff has been friendly and helpful, and our drinks have been delicious!
Today however was completely different. We visited around noon and the female employee working was very rude. She didn’t greet us, she barely spoke to us, and had an attitude. I get it, everyone has bad days. When I saw our order on the screen I noticed my chai said hot when I had asked for iced. I politely said “Oh I’m sorry, I wanted mine to be iced not hot. Sorry if I didn’t say that”. The employee at that point went from looking and acting annoyed to acting angry. Saying absolutely nothing she slammed (literally slammed) a new cup down and then walked away. She didn’t tell us our total, didn’t confirm our order, didn’t tell us we were good to pay. So we just assumed to go ahead and pay for our drinks? When our drinks were ready mine wasn’t what I even asked for. I didn’t want to irritate the employee further so we just left. I also witnessed this employee being rude to the woman in front of us. I can geniunely say I’ve never had staff anywhere treat me the way she did. I am not sure we will be...
Read moreI’ve been an avid Kennedy goer since high school, I’m 30 now. Over the years the quality and service have steadily declined, but today was the last straw. I go through the drive thru; first it took a good two minutes for someone to even acknowledge that I was there. I was greeted with an annoyed and short tone. I ordered two drinks - one hot, one cold and I also ordered a pup cup. Granted I know a matcha drink takes a little longer to make so I patiently waited. The guy in the gray hoodie and man bun shoves my drinks in hand and slams the window - no words were spoken. I did not get my pup cup nor a straw for my cold drink. I gave it a minute and no staff in sight. So I had to go inside to request my pup cup and let the staff know how disappointed I was at the level of service they just gave. Same guy that was in the drive thru just said “the straws are over there.” and pointed to the counter. This is a whole new low that I’ve experienced and because of this will no longer be going to Kennedy Coffee. Do better, Kennedy. Teach your staff about some decent kindness, hell, this is basic customer service. If I could give zero stars I...
