Sushi House — Restaurant in Bentonville

We had the opportunity to try Sushi House, and we're really glad we did. Finding a spot that works for both my sushi cravings and my wife's gluten-free needs can sometimes be a challenge, but this place handled it like pros.

The vibe is definitely more casual with servers yelling from across the room or bussing dishes at breakneck speeds, perfect for quick lunch bites. These guys are like a well-oiled machine getting people in and out quickly. It seems like their sweet spot is specialty rolls-think fun stuff like eel rolls, caterpillar rolls, dragon rolls... Lots of deep-fried options. It's not necessarily where you'd go for super traditional, high-end fish cuts, but it excels at what it does.

The biggest win for us was how accommodating they were. My wife is gluten-free, and they had solid options for her, including making her New York roll gluten free friendly. Good on ya Sushi House! Plus, since she's pregnant, finding tasty cooked options was key, and they delivered. I went for a classic eel roll, which was really good too.

Nice touch: they bring out complimentary miso soup (which was also gluten-free – bonus points!) and a couple of starter rolls when you dine in. Always appreciate little extras like that.

Overall, we had a great experience. The food hit the spot, the service was thoughtful regarding our dietary needs, and the atmosphere was chill. We consider this a 5-star visit, and we would love to try more of their traditional nigiri and sashimi options once my wife can eat raw fish again.

If you're looking for creative rolls and especially if you need gluten-free options handled well, give Sushi...

Small space, big taste!

TL:DR Sushi House is an unassuming place just of the interstate in the Bentonville area. The food is delicious (not just the sushi - the fried rice, soup, and other menu items are great) and the staff is incredible. And who can be upset about random FREE FOOD delivered to your table?

Details: This restaurant is right down the road from Walmart's technology headquarters, so it can be busy during the week, and the inside is always packed.

The good news is - they have the fastest service of fresh food I've ever seen! They make your order fresh, no hours old sushi waiting to be served, but they still manage to get you out in a timely manner.

Speaking of the sushi... it's delicious! The only downside is the huge variety, so it is difficult to determine what to get. The waitstaff has great suggestions, so geek free to ask!

Also, their normal menu items like fried rice and miso soup are terrific!

One of the great surprises here is that you almost always get more than you bargained for! They are constantly giving free samples, bringing a few pieces of sushi to your table for you to try, or some other delicious extra that just makes the dining experience even better.

Friendly and conscientious staff, even though the place is constantly humming with activity.

Popped in on a whim last Friday night, and they were packed! It's always a great sign!

We put our names on the wait list. Staff was amazingly friendly, and after a short few mins wait, we were offered 2 seats at the sushi counter, which was great cause I love watching the team make the rolls and such!

Immediately, we were offered complimentary samples of their sushi of the day, which were delicious... and a drink order which we ordered 2 tall Saporos.

We wrote down our sushi order on the sheet, California Roll, Uno Mas Roll, Green Monster Roll, and I forgot what the last roll was... Sushi arrived super fast for the level of business they were handling on a Friday night... did not seem to impact the flow of food at all! The guys making sushi were flying and having a good Ole time, making it more enjoyable! Our sushi arrived looking g amazing and delicious... my only note is it arrived way before our Saporos....which is the reason for the 4star service....not sure what happened there...

Sushi was fantastic spent all in all about $75. Well worth it! I highly recommend The Sushi House and definitely try some of their...
