My wife loves the liver & onions , I do as well. I believe the food is excellent and the value is good . Also the servers are very, very friendly. Unfortunately I was treated horribly by the cook. Placed a carry out order over the phone. My wife always wants extra gravy & onions. I asked for extra gravy twice and again before ending the call. When I arrived to pickup the order there was no gravy on the liver. Cook told the server extra gravy was $3. I already paid $2 for extra onions. I politely asked if gravy came with the liver, NOT extra gravy, obliviously it should. The cook went into a rage! It yelled out give him gravy ,charge him $3 next time. Maybe I look like a freeloader ,bum or not like their average customer so cook didn't feel he had to treat me as a valued customer. I told the cook " keep your gravy" and reminded the staff I only asked a question. Overall an average place to eat. Their food was about what you would expect from a diner, although the menu was perhaps a bit lacking. They do not have hummus. This disappointed me. Do not get the nachos. They are bad. The service was typical, nothing noteworthy. I nearly forgot to tip because of my card messing up, and the waitress said it was alright. There was this? Old man? Who I think was flirting with me? So kinda gross but all he did was replace the waitress for about 2 minutes so really, not noteworthy.

The atmosphere would be very comfortable to any average conservative family. I am not that. If you're a queer or a socialist like I am, the vibes are not for us.

The bathrooms are gender segregated.

I love this place. Great for good Ole American food as well as some Greek and delicious house made soups and Daily specials. I really love the Roasted half chicken dinner and the Turkey dinner as well as the Greek entrees. Today, I stopped for lunch and had one of the lunch specials, which was a huge Chicken Strawberry salad. My server, Linda, had a great suggestion to put half the salad aside on a plate without putting dressing on it to take home because the salad was so big with lots of tender grilled chicken on it. I did that and half the salad was just right! It had chopped walnuts and mandarin oranges in it too with Raspberry vinegarette dressing.
