Pancheros Mexican Grill - West Berlin — Restaurant in Berlin Township

I use to love eating here until last week when I was eating inside and witnessed the girl behind the counter cross contaminating the cooked and raw chicken! So there is a cutting board right next to the grill top area where she was cutting up the cooked chicken. She then steps away with cooked chicken still on the cutting board and grabs the container of raw chicken which she then placed that container onto the same cutting board where the cooked chicken is sitting! She then takes the raw chicken and loads them onto the grill area to be cooked. She takes off her raw chicken gloves throws those out then grabs the empty raw container with no gloves and puts it back. Comes right back to the cutting board and continues to finishing cutting up the cook chicken on the same spot of the cutting board the raw container just was! They need to do some training with raw and cooked food!!! I will not be returning to this place to eat unless I want food poisoning! This place is a great place to get a simple burrito quesadilla, tacos or a bowl. They are similar in style to places like Chipotle or Moe's but what I like about their burritos is when you finish ordering all your ingredients, they use a spatula (which is only use for your burrito and then washed) to mix all the ingredients together. So you don't have that one big bite of lettuce only or big bite of chicken only, etc. Instead it's all mixed nicely so you get an evenly distributed burrito. I also really like their queso dip. I think it's much much better than Chipotle's dip in flavor. I just wish that you got a little more chips when you order the chips and queso. Chipotle gives a huge amount of chips, sometimes too much, but Pancheros tends to be a little more stingy. I feel like I run out of chips before the queso is done. That would be my only complaint. So I come in tonight because I had a long day at work and just wanted to grab some quick fresh food.. which I love pancheros food. Nothing against the food. But that person you have working at this location… he’s somewhere between 5’8-6ft, definitely a gay guy with curly hair, wearing a beige shirt…he was the problem. He’s pacing back and forth rolling his eyes to his coworkers making side comments instead of just serving the guests in line. I have never seen anything like this before, I almost want to go to a different location just so I don’t have to experience this kind of service. Don’t ask me what his problem was… but it was definitely over one of the customers being served in line. I was disgraced by this behavior that I could barely speak up to order my food when it was my turn. I hope that when I come back in again some day they have some better workers that aren’t being judgy, rolling their eyes at guests and making...
