I recently visited Dunkin' Donuts coffee shop and would like to share my experience. Overall, the food at this establishment was enjoyable, and I found their offerings to be quite good. However, I encountered a concerning incident during my visit.
There was one employee who seemed inexperienced and struggled with her job responsibilities. Unfortunately, I do not know her name, but it's worth mentioning that all the other workers were friendly and provided excellent service. The particular employee in question made a mistake by placing a lid that was twice the size of the small cup, resulting in my mom getting severely burned. We had to seek medical attention and take her to the hospital.
I appreciate the kind gesture of another worker who promptly offered us ice to help with the discomfort. However, incidents like these raise concerns about the overall competence and training of the employees. It's important to ensure the safety and well-being of customers, and this incident was unsettling.
While I don't believe it's appropriate for me to advocate for someone's immediate termination without understanding the full context or opportunity for improvement, I strongly encourage Dunkin' Donuts management to address this matter. Investigating the incident, providing additional training, and enforcing safety protocols are crucial steps toward preventing similar incidents in the future.
If I receive confirmation that appropriate actions have been taken to rectify the situation and ensure customer safety, I would reconsider my decision to visit again and may even provide a higher rating. Read moreDunkin donuts use to be open and ready for business at 5 A.M everyday, it is now 6:48 A.M and CLOSED. I parked to go inside, the front doors are locked. Employees seen I attempted to open the front door and ignored the fact that a customer would like to come in. Apparently management can't get it together and has advised their employees to not open the front door. I called to clarify to be sure that the vicinity was in operation and is open for business. The girl "Gaby" mentioned that I can not come in due to a busy drive thru, "1 car at the pick up window and 3 cars behind it waiting", also mentioned I can not walk through the drive thru due to safety precautions of traffic. "WELL THEN OPEN YOUR FRONT DOORS", was my idea. I presume that the pumpkin spice donuts are selling out due to slow staff and service, bad management that probably doesn't take responsibility for ones company. I hope this does get recognized and resolved immediately. I also understand that only bad reviews are only what get posted a majority of the time, but this recognition of business must be noticeable for customers that intend to bring a business service with intent of support and growth at an early hour. Read moreI would definitely give no stars if I could. I went there last night and was beyond disappointed with every aspect of that experience. I went through the drive thru with my family and first of all they didn’t have any classic flavors of ice cream that my son wanted. No Chocolate, No Rocky Road, No Mint chocolate chip, no chocolate chip cookie dough, etc. Then we proceeded to wait 15 minutes in the drive thru lane only to get to the window and they didn’t have our order showing up on their systems. When we did get our order, our two ice cream cones were melted and the blasts we ordered were melted also. I tasted my cappuccino blast and it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted. It did not taste anything like coffee OR ice cream! It was inedible and I imagine it tasted something like motor oil topped with whipped cream. We turned back and they offered to make us something new, but we opted out. They gave us our money back, but that was seriously not enough. My throat has been hurting since then as I’m sure something completely inedible was added to my drink and my husbands drink.
