Panda Express — Restaurant in Bernalillo

A wonderful young beautiful woman Natalie, she is the sole reason I go to this Panda Express, because every time I see her she is just a ray of sunshine from the heavens above. Ever since the beginning of summer she has made this Panda Express more than excellent. She's an absolute delight to talk to and is always so respectful and kind. A diligent hard worker and everything this Panda needed. She is so attentive to each individual customer. She establishes one on one in human interactions and it makes you feel so special and like you're talking to a real person. She sheer bright and cheerful attitude is why I get so excited to come to Panda. Everytime I go up to the drive through intercom, I get excited because I get to see my favorite person! I'm so for when I say she is the sole reason I come to this Panda. As a college student in a different city who is home for the summer, it makes me sad I won't be able to see my favorite employee till maybe winter or next summer. Cause I'm serious when I say, because of her my food tastes better. The pure kindness and love she shows in the small conversations we have make my food taste way better because I'm thinking about her and her hard work. I keep her in my prayers and thoughts, please keep her happy and filled with love as she has a gorgeous soul that needs to be protected from this cruel world. It's people like her who give me hope for humanity and that kindness isn't dead in this society. She is someone who will always be filled with love and kindness even in the darkest situation, even when she is at her lowest she is the kind of person to be kind to others no matter what. And I absolutely love her for it. She is one of those people who makes the world better, even by just having a small conversation at the window of a fast food place. I'll miss seeing her this fall because every time I go to Panda I leave with a smile on my face and cavities in my teeth because of how sweet she is. I used to go to this location very regularly and never had a problem. This time a new cashier was working on the receipt, her name is Brenna M. She seemed very lost the whole time. She asked what my order was at the window and I told her what it was, she told me my total and i handed her a gift card and she took it and closed the window. About 3 minutes went by and she opened the window again and asked me what I had ordered so I told her again. She repeated the total and I told her that the gift card had $10 and handed her my debit card for the remaining $10. after about another full minute she opens the window and shoved the card and receipt in my face and I take it and turn to hand it to the passenger of my car to put it away. As I turn back around, she’s holding the bag of food out the window and drops it straight on the road and turned back around. I look down and she comes back and I tell her it fell. So I have to unbuckle, open my car door, mind you it’s 30° and rainy out, and I pick up the back off the road. When I sit back up, she has closed the window and i see her packing someone else’s order. No offer to remake the food, not even an apology. So I pull forward and park and go through the food to make sure it’s ok, and I check my receipt because the length of time she had my card was suspicious. I find on the receipt that the entire total had been charged to my card and I had not been given back the gift card. My father calls the store to explain the situation and the manager says he will check the tapes. After about 5 minutes on hold, he tells my father that they either “couldn’t find the transaction” or that they “didn’t see me hand off a gift card”. Get your story straight. They also said that the Gift Card processing has been down. If that were true, tell the customer as they hand the gift card over and ask for a different form of payment, simple as that. Don’t just take the card anyway. We get into the restaurant and wait for the manager and he says that he did not see the gift card on the camera but that he will give us a new one anyways. And still nothing to be done about the dropped food. Overall, absolutely terrible experience. I love Panda Express.. The one from home is the best thing ever, it has the perfect staff who greets you when you come in. My family and I are traveling.. We were truly hungry and we looking for somewhere to eat, I noticed that there was a Panda Express and told me dad and we went off, we had to drive 30 minutes to get there because our gps was acting stupid. Once we got there, and I clearly read 10 on Google. We were about to enter the opened store when they told us it was closing, it was like 9:20.. I don't know if they forgot to change it or whatever.. But ok. He also told us that the drive thru was opened and we didn't care.. We wanted our food, like a normal teenage I am, I put on some headphones to block out the world from its cruelness. We got our food and went to sit outside to eat it since they wouldn't let us in, being the cheap father I have, we got the soda we had in our cooler.

The first thing we noticed was the look.. We usually order two entree plates, orange chicken and chow men for my mom and brother and orange chicken and rice that has eggs in them for my dad and I. The orange chicken.. I don't know if all Panda Expresses do them different but it was a dark brown instead of a light brown, it also tasted different, bare with me, this was like a week ago.. But I know it did. The chow men was just the veggies... I barely went saw any noodles, then it was my rice.. Lord was holding me back.. Some of the rice was under cooked and there was barely even veggies.. I dont know how I didn't go in there and ask for a refund.. Maybe it was my mom..
