I went there today. It was one of the worst choices. I ordered sea food and so did one of the people who went with me. Both our meals were over cooked. It was the worst experience. The food being over cooked is not the only reason. After eating the rubber they called food then spitting it back in my plate an saying I don't want it. The waiter told me it was under cooked but it's not it was over he offered to get the food fully cooked for me or get me new food, I said no I don't feel comfortable. Who would after the person who takes care of customer tells you your sea food is under cooked. If I'm not mistaken that could kill you? I also don't want people getting mad an spitting in my food... After that their manager came over, who mind you was working in a restaurant and did not even have her hair tied up (I think that's illegal) And treated me like I'm the one who did something wrong in front of all the other customers. Grilled me like a criminal. I told her the food was over or under cooked because her waiter said under (again don't feel comfortable with that) And I say UNDER. She basically indicated I was a lier. THEN when the bill came charged us for the over cooked seafood meal I didn't take more then 2 bites of! If I was gonna try an scam food don't you think I would eat more then 2 bites! THEN! When I left! I looked at her cause I was really mad! She looks at me and goes "what" I said I didn't like the way she disrespected me an TREATED me like she didn't believe me I found it offensive and she goes " I never SAID I didn't believe you" and I said not said treated. She then goes well I have to find out what is wrong because of our chefs an I said it's over cooked an she said over or under make up your mind. I said I choose over it was like rubber I should be able to at least eat my meal an she goes "have you had seafood before" I was like O_O I couldn't believe how rude she was! I said it was over your waiter said it was under. Then my family walked by and I left with them in hopes to not humiliate them further by arguing with someone who obviously does not know how to service new customers who she does not know on a person bases. I did however while I was eating get to see her kiss someone else's butt... I wish she'd pry her lips off there an try some of the sea food coming out of her own kitchen. OH AND TIE UP HER...
Read moreEXTREMELY over cooked steaks. We went here and got 2 broiled filets cooked at medium but both came extremely over cooked. One was grey and well done. Didn’t have even the slightest pink. The other had some pink and was medium well. The waiter came at the very beginning of the meal to ask if it was ok which it was (because I had not cut into my steak yet). I took 2 bites of my steak before I decided it was way too over cooked and put it to the side and split the other steak. The waiter did not come back until the table was cleared by the busser (who saw the full uneaten steak and we told was over cooked). Finally the waiter came with the bill and I asked for a discount (I didn’t even ask for it fully comped because I did eat 2 whole bites) and he said because I didn’t tell him about it he couldn’t give a discount (well maybe if you gave me the opportunity to tell you about it…?). We went up to the manager and asked her and she said the cooks have a thermometer and asked them what they cooked it at and they said medium. (I don’t think they lied, I think their thermometer must have been wrong, it also was a thick steak) and so she only gave us 1/3 of the price of the steak back. Wow! I was so nice about asking too because I hate being the annoying customer. They even asked the busser who told them I didn’t eat the steak. They just want every penny they can get I guess. It was annoying because we paid probably $30 after tip and tax for an uneaten steak. And then another almost $40 for the eaten crappy steak. Oh well you live and you learn, but learn from me and don’t...
Read moreThe overall atmosphere of the place is nice and friendly, the staff are all amazing. Unfortunately, the food isn't much to go for; the fried calamari didn't have much taste to it. It was bland and chewy. The sauce really was the better part of the calamari.
The Eggplant Rollatini was pretty great, honestly; cheesy deliciousness that was rightly seasoned.
The Fetuccinni Alfredo w/ shrimp and broccoli was honestly something you'd give to your grandmother with dementia; the shrimp was larger than expected and was sliced in a way that looked like they had been crucified. In this pasta, you can individually taste each ingredient: pasta, sauce, broccoli, and shrimp. NO SEASONING. it was so bland that when I took a bite, I apologized to my girlfriend for experiencing such torture.
Last but not least, for dessert, we had a cannoli. The experience of eating this cannoli was akin to eating cereal. The cannoli cream tasted like the leftover milk after eating lucky charms.
Overall rating - 10/10 - will not eat again.
TLDR; The majority of the meal was very bland, and the cannoli tasted like cereal milk.
Edit: Lowered to 2 stars due to the Eggplant...
