Nick's Famous Roast Beef — Restaurant in Beverly

I walk in to order. Cashier doesn’t inform me that their credit card reader is not working. I go to order after he asks me if I’m ready. I go to order a junior 3 way roast beef dinner. $17.95 plus he takes my card and asks me if I have cash. I reply, No I do not have cash. He then proceeds to use the credit card reader and finish the transaction. After a few moments, I say I guess I’ll use the ATM. Thinking nothing of it I go to use the ATM see they charge $2.00 as a fee. I get my $20 and then proceed to ask if I can get a refund for that $2.0” since their cashier didn’t inform me about their credit card reader not working. Should have told me that from the beginning and I wouldn’t have ordered. I ask and explain that it’s their issue and their ATM is charging me and everyone else $2.00 every-time because you don’t inform your customers ahead of time your credit card reader doesn’t work. Way to easily get them to use your ATM after paying stupidly high prices for a junior beef dinner plate. I don’t mind paying it but the fact you got $2.00 more out of me because YOUR cashier and YOUR credit card machine doesn’t work’ WHH SHOULD WE AS CONSUMER BUYING FROM YOUR ESTABLISHMENT HAVE TO PAY MORE TO JUST BUY FOOD I’ll NEVER EVER go back here again. Went to Nicks Roast Beef . On my sister's recommendation. Well the out side of the place is and average-looking place that's a little small ,on an intersection that seems a little hard to navigate and is a little hard to get into their parking .Very busy but once you're in the parking lot and then in the store the food is excellent I ordered the largest roast beef sandwich they had on an onion roll and you can have mustard, ketchup ,mayonnaise ,onions, cheddar cheese, lettuce ,tomato, whatever . I chose to get that as a combo . It came with their famous French fries fries piled high as well as a pile high of onion rings and a salad that came with their own Italian dressing . Grant total was 13 and change the fries were delicious the onion rings were great the salad was also great it wasnt big but with the size of the roast beef sandwich you couldnt eat a bigger one.,and the roast beef sandwich was lean and delicious as would b'e expected I highly recommend if you're in the mood for a really delicious roast beef sandwich that goes the extra mile this is the place you want to go. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Hands down the best and I mean THE BEST roast beef ANYWHERE!! They have a whole menu of items that can be ordered however I think I've only gotten chicken fingers and mozzo sticks.. Both really good by the way... But I dont think anyone orders anything besides the roast beefs haha! They are a small place and even during busy times (they are usually always busy) the tables are clean so you can sit and eat or take it to go. Not much parking how ever I've always had a spot because service is quick and people are in and out consistently.
