I have been coming to this location for about five years suddenly I am being charged for extra creamer . This has happened to me the past four times that I have gone to this Starbucks on Christmas tree Lane, but it wasnāt until today that I ran into the manager Ashley who said she was going to have to charge me for a grande drink because I asked to have my tall drink, put into a grande cup so that I would have room for extra creamer I love extra creamer and this Starbucks seems to go light on creamer She insisted that thatās the way they charge and if I needed more than 4 ounces of milk that she would have to charge me so sheās counting the 2 ounces that already come in the drink ( tall hot Oliato) I let her know I was only asking for 2 ounces extra the conversation alone was so upsetting to me. I left shaky and upset. she basically told me I am the manager you will do as I say your NOT getting extra creamer ! Again Iāve been coming here for six years Iāve been super patient through their holiday lines and mistakes that they continuously make with the drinks , sometimes theyāre made wrong sometimes theyāre cold when they should be hot and other times theyāre not even full ! When I ask for light ice, they put extra heavy ice. Itās almost like itās being done on purpose. I have continuously given them my business, although they have fell short numerous times without asking for a remake or refund . I once had the girl make me a hot drink, and it came out as an ice drink, and I didnāt even have her remake it. I drink it iced. To be treated like this as a continuous customer was so hurtful I Come here because there is no other Starbucks that has a drive-through ! On the positive side. The Starbucks inside Vons is very welcoming very friendly and they always make my drink to order without giving me a hassle. Iām very upset and feel that I was singled out and it is personal for Ashley towards me because I am a local and theyāre insulted when I complain . I did however, call corporate and make a complaint. They were shocked by what they heard and gave me a $10 gift card which I really appreciate. I just want to take this time to apologize to any of Ashleyās coworkers that work under her because I see that they were going by the direction of their manager . I wait few min Thinking maybe theyāre busy Starbucks are always busy when I didnāt get anything from the speaker. I went to the window and I clearly see 4 girls working so I do a little wave to say hey are you guys open or get some acknowledgment because at this time Iāve invested time in the drive-through and had no response whatsoever. The girl ignores me and walks away so I knock on the window. Yes I did because at this point Iām angry and I said whatās going on why are you ignoring me? Why couldnāt you just tell me that the drive-through is closed and she give me a very dirty look like sheās gonna fight me says a couple cuss words and walks away when I asked another girl working there what is her name she told me Jiselle ! So Jiselle I want you to know This is a horrible way to be treated If you donāt like this job or itās just too early for you to get up because I did notice you were very young then find another job. Thereās plenty on the mountain that maybe you might fit in better with. Itās so sad especially when you are a continuous customer and a local I just started going back here after my last encounter with the manager that was awful. I do believe that the manager encourages this bad behavior and itās unfortunate because we are a small town I usually do wake up in a great mood and for Starbucks to just completely ruin my morning is absolutely ridiculous I called corporate to complain and as Iām sitting in front of the Starbucks. Iām watching a line of at least 15 to 20 people doing the exact same thing I did. This is unnecessary behavior and it also seems like itās being done on purpose to upset customers I think the manager thinks itās funny when they could simply just put up a cone or a sign or have somebody acknowledge and say Iām sorry weāre closed. Come to find out their machine that printed tickets for drink orders was down (except for the drive thru and mobile orders). Once they identified the problem about 20 minutes after we placed our order they began writing drink orders down on the cups. Some how they missed our drink orders - we noticed that 8 people who ordered their drinks after us (manually written drink tickets) received their drinks after us. After being extremely patient we inquired a second time on our drink orders and they could not find our order and that they may still be writing our order on the cups. At this point, we were upset with the fact that several patrons who ordered after us had received their drinks. Which made it worse is that when we told them we had been waiting over 30 minutes for drinks and asked them to give us our drinks it seemed as if it was such a bothersome task.
