Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Big Rapids

I am extremely disappointed. I’ve only been to scooters coffee three times and every single time I’ve had a bad experience but the most recent one with a cherry on top. I have a severe dairy sensitivity and so I went through the drive-through and I let them know of that and I let them know that I would like a “large iced caramel latte with the caramel syrup not the sauce” because I am aware that the sauce has dairy in it. I then proceeded to pull up to the window and pay almost 8 dollars for this drink for them to hand me a all white drink. But before she even handed it to me she looked at it and then looked back up at me and then looked back at the drink and then handed out the window like she obviously knew that there was something wrong but I don’t work at scooters coffee so I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. As soon as I took a sip it is literally straight oat milk and I should’ve known better and I should’ve asked for it to be remade but this is now the third time that I’ve gotten my coffee and it’s been made wrong. It’s also very frustrating that there was no receipt that was given to me and there’s no indicators on the cup letting me know that yes they did indeed use a dairy alternative milk especially since it is...

3 stars, is my standard for average and that’s how I feel about this please. I got one Frappuccino and one blender. The blender is like a milkshake because it has ice cream with coffee and the frap is your standard syrup, coffee and milk. Really disappointed by the amount of ice in each drink. I feel like it’s too much in the blender, even if it is a milkshake. Use more ice cream. What are you trying to do save more money by using ice? The texture is small shards of ice. I can taste the HALF CUP of ice you used. I get the blender kind of but why the frap? It’s literally a latte. There’s no ice of that level that should be involved. Plus this place I feel like the flavor is always lacking. I’d much rather drive an hour to Grand Rapids, wait for my monthly trips there, and get a better coffee drink from a local store. As i typed this I got more mad so I apologize for the increasing aggression. These drinks were worse than McDonald’s. At least they put syrup that tastes good and their coffee is better. You can tell from the picture I hope most of the drink is one big block of ice that melts :((((.

I'm disappointed. Tried looking for prices on their drinks. They didn't have any. Tried calling them to ask ~ prices. No one answered. I didnt go there & just decided to take my business to Biggbes. (At least they serve their customers. )

For the prices at coffee shops, we're paying for the drink + service + relaxing atmosphere.

After a while I will go back there and give them another shot. (Who knows...maybe they were just having an "off" day....)

UPDATE: I decided to give them another try... This place is good for a quick pick me up. But still, the prices... A cup of coffee should not cost $3-$5.(Prices should be 1/3 of the cost, as you are really only recieving 1/3 of the benefits [ "Drink + service + relaxing atmosphere) I will continue to go there but only order from their "dollar deal". If they don't have what I want, I'll go to a gas station/convenience store & give THEM my business.
