So, I went to this Wendy's tonight in Big Rapids. They seemed rather busy, but still... I ordered a Baconator along with some other things. Friendly staff and very nice. I drove off and my wife handed out the food like normal. I pulled over to eat and that's when I opened up the first Baconator. (Pics not included I ate it...) The first one had a single piece of bacon tossed onto it but otherwise was quite delicious for a burger. Now, the only reason I spend $10 on a meal like this is the sandwich, so naturally I was upset. I returned to wendy's and as they were still busy I phoned inside to tell them about my experience. (Can't get into the building the doors are locked). Very helpful they apologized and asked if they could remake my sandwich to which I agreed and waited. After about two minutes they brought me a bag out with this sandwich..now I'm not saying it's not a good sandwich, but the whole reason the baconator is so expensive is the bacon. Had I just wanted a sandwich with 2 slices of bacon I would've gotten the Dave's single or double and added bacon. This sandwich is -NOT- what is advertised. I posted along side the picture from their website for reference. Not happy that Wendy's is doing this with the baconator.. I hope this isn't the new normal. It's a baconator..not a bacon cheeseburger...
Now don't get me wrong, had they explained while I was ordering it that due to covid 19 or some bullcrap they have to limit bacon that's one thing..but I asked before I ordered it and still didn't get the sandwich I ordered even after...
Read moreHow do you make a meal worse than fast food? well raise the prices and lower the quality of service and then wait to be interrogated by the manager because of their ineptitude but then again I suppose it all starts at the top.
Seriously... i dont know what is the worst part of this location... the constant errors or their attitudes when addressing their mistake. Corporate should shut this place down and clean house. Customer service training classes should be a must.
Btw... apparently you need to call to schedule your frustration with management because they do not like when you just show up expecting them to correct their mistakes. The offense taken at the presentation of their errors. Reminds me of my 2 year old..
So before you ask for, fresh, properly made, or just want what you ordered... Please Make sure you have surveillance footage, notarized receipt and a corroborating bank statement to validate your missing items..
Over.... a .99 cent 4 pc chicken nugget. You interrogated and harrased your customer over a .99 chicken nugget...
The fact i had to listen to my kid for an hour while i went shopping because you failed to provide what i ordered, and then harrased me about it when i asked you to deliver it.. and to ask me to never come back...
I look forward to seeing you...
Read moreWe rolled in around 7 p.m. after a wonderful visit with the brother-in-law and his wife for a quick bite on the way back home. The lady taking the order was quite pleasant and very helpful on the flavors of Fanta that they have, but that was a far as the positive experience would go. Pulled up to the second window to pay, because the first one was used as a clutter collector and watched the chaos ensue. Paid and waited for 10 minutes or so while the staff that looked like they just got back from a weekend bender in Vegas tried to make sense of everything that was going on around them. The food finally was handed to us and we were happily on our way. The fries were nice and crispy, the Frosty's were alright. Her sandwich was alright, but I didn't even get to try mine. I ordered without mayo, and upon opening what looked like a promising sandwich found mayo leaking out the side of the bun like snot out of a toddler's nose. After that long of a wait, did you forget to look at your order screen, or were you too glassy-eyed to make sense of what you...
