If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is an absolute joke. We walked in and not a single employee bothered to greet us—we had to say hello first. After five minutes of standing there like idiots, the one on coffee finally mumbled that she’d “be with us soon.” Meanwhile, the girl at the drive-thru window wasn’t doing a damn thing except tearing paper. No eye contact, no acknowledgment, nothing.
To make it worse, half the menu boards were down. They’re literally just TVs, and instead of fixing them, they slapped a few drinks on pieces of paper. It looked like a middle school bake sale, not a functioning coffee shop.
Another guy came in, saw us still waiting, asked if we’d been helped, and when we said no, he immediately turned around and left. Smart man—we should have followed him sooner. In the ten minutes we wasted inside, they pumped out drive-thru orders left and right while ignoring the customers actually in the building.
I’ve been here multiple times. Not once has it been a smooth, decent experience. Every single visit is frustrating. There’s a reason Starbucks reigns king: consistency, customer service, and quality. This place doesn’t even come close.
This company is a complete mess. Instead of opening more locations, maybe they should figure out how to run the ones they already have. Customer service is nonexistent, management clearly doesn’t care, and the staff acts like doing their job is a burden. We took our money elsewhere and...
Read moreI just want to start off by saying I love Mazevos. I’ve been coming here for years and have seen different crews come and go. The service here is always top-notch and super friendly. The breakfast is delicious. Specifically the egg bites and I always have a really good cup of coffee. My only two critiques would be that the prices have gone up in the several months, twice. I’ve seen the cup of coffee go from $4 something all the way up to $5.50 now for a 12 ounce cup of coffee. I’d also say that when they hire new people they do struggle for sometime with making the coffee taste correctly. Of course that comes with experience however, there was a couple months I couldn’t go because the regular spot I went to had a new person and it wasn’t worth the money cause it didn’t taste right. I will keep supporting them and I love their new location on King. I hope they have even more locations coming soon. If you’re looking for a great local spot, this is...
Read moreI have very mixed feelings about this company. I’ve never had a bad interaction with the baristas and manager Gabby at the King location is such a delight to interact with. They handle problems with grace and work so hard to correct any mistakes. Their coffee and food is delicious. My problem is with the pricing and rewards system. Corporate has switched up their reward policies twice already this year with absolutely ZERO notice. This morning, I went to mazevo, expecting to have a 5 dollar off reward that I’ve painstakingly saved for for two weeks, only to find out that it’s been reduced to a 2 dollar reward. No warning, no heads up, no “hey use your rewards before they diminish.” It’s just disheartening and I’d hate to see a slew of customers turn their backs on the company for hush-hush policies that don’t benefit the people willing to spend money in the current economy. Again, I’m just disappointed in the place I choose to go to...
