The Roasted Bean — Restaurant in Biloxi

I’ve never eaten somewhere that made me feel like I was at the DMV. If you would like to eat here, my recommendation would be to not order any heated food. Despite being well staffed, the front counter seemed very unorganized. By its own nature, the restaurant is meant to be a quick service stop. However, this is far from the case. When I asked about my food, the lady asked to review my receipt, then never gave it back. I had to ask three times before seeing it again. Each time I asked for my receipt, I was met with an angry response from the woman that originally took it. Finally, my food came from the kitchen after 35 minutes. Simple turkey sandwiches. Other than the rude service, you can get decent pastries and coffee. Don’t expect much in the way of service beyond that. If I weren’t a local and was visiting the casino from out of town, I would be very put off by the experience. Tried to go here for dessert; checked first to insure we had plenty of time. After having to walk two blocks due to parking being blocked off and valet service not running but still blocking the other available parking, we wandered through the casino looking for the spot. Without even taking a step inside the doorway the rude lady behind the counter shouted not once, but twice in rapid succession that they were closed. All we wanted was dessert- all those were still in the display case. Wasn't looking to have coffee made or food cooked. It would have been nice to see someone at the very least be less than 100% rude. Thought wow, never been to a place that wouldn't let you grab something to go but if we missed the close so be it. Their prices on their TV wall menu doesn’t match what they charge. Ordered Croissant Egg and Cheese which is supposed to be $6 but was charged $8. Their large Frappuccino shows $5 but actually charges $6. So beware! Manager refunded my account after I complained but I was more concerned about them changing the price in their register system/menu prices on the wall for future transactions not just mine. As far as food, it tasted good but I didn’t eat 1/2 of it where there was no egg and cheese. Yes, the croissant was way bigger than the egg and cheese.
